One month later all was the same for Xiao Zhan and he felt odd that Yibo or Lan Wangji didn't contact him.
"Wonder what happen to him?" Xiao Zhan thought as he sip a cup of green tea on a cold rainy day.
Until the doorbell rang. He placed the cup down onto the coffee table and he walked towards the door. Through the screen he could see who it was.
Lan Wangji or better know as Wang Yibo.
"Speaking of the devil" Xiao Zhan thought as he pushed the button and let Yibo in and went to pick up the cup and sat at the loveseat.
The door opened and Yibo let himself in. The man stepped out of his sneakers and went to sit on the couch.
There was an awkward silence until
"Xiao Zhan I will get it straight to you" Wang Yibo suddenly said and he continued "I like you. Even if you are not him in this life you I love you from day we met at the cafe"
Xiao Zhan was shocked. He thought he was the only one feeling the same. But he knew it would be impossible.
"Wang- no I mean Lan Wangji, I am flattered you thought of me this way but now people here in this country still doesn't accept this kind of relationship. I am sorry but I cannot accept your feelings. This is the reality"
Lan Wangji heart broke into two, just like it did thousands of years ago. He knew what the person in front of him said was true. It was what he observed. No one still accept the kind of relationship between men with men while women with women.
"Well I am sorry. Excuse me" he said politely and soon left the person whom he love as he walked out the door and as soon as he goes down to the lobby and walked out of the building he looked up at the window of the person and closed his eyes.
Unaware of the tears that fell down his cheek and onto the ground as the weather changed just like the mood he was feeling. He looked up at the sky and soon walked quickly towards the train station.
He covered his face as he received looks from the people in the train and kept to himself. He was listening.
"Wahhh isn't that Wang Yibo! He is so handsome. But why does he look so sad?"
"I don't know. Maybe he was having trouble with something"
"Hey do you think we could ask for a picture?"
"I don't think now is a good time"
"Oh okay"
Lan Wangji was glad the person manage to convince the friend to not talk to him.
He looked out the window and saw the scenery of the city. He let out a sigh and knew this was the end.
