Tim followed Allettare like a mule. They moved out of his bedroom and to the verandah. Tim said a quick prayer in his heart that Chituru would help him like they planned but he was obviously not coming.
'That asshole', he muttered. 'After getting me involved...'
His words trailed off as he watched her climb the railing.
'Please, I'm begging you. Tell me what's going on. This is crazy! I've been very corporative. It's the third night and I have work in the morning. Don't I deserve an explanation as to why me?! And why my verandah'.
Allettare cocked her head to her left and smiled. The moon was large and full in its glory. It was weird but, she seemed to out glow the moon. It was as if the glow of the moon brought forth her beauty all the more, if that was even possible. And her eyes, those translucent violet blue eyes, stared at him. It almost seemed like she could see into his very soul.
'You'll see'
'What?'
Tim was a bit dazed.
'You'll see'.As she said this, she stretched out her hand to him. Tim looked at it and released a sigh. He turned back, one final look at his house and for any sign of Chituru before he placed his hands in hers. There was a look of triumph on her face but it was gone so quickly that he thought he imagined it.
Once they were both on top of the railing, Allettare held him against her and jumped.Chituru sat up quickly from the couch and groaned. He felt a bit dizzy and it took him a few seconds to remember he was in Tim's house. The flashes of light and colour from the TV helped give him the light he needed to see around the parlour. He was about to go back to sleep when he caught a whiff of the scent. That flowery scent he had perceived the first day he found Tim in the verandah. Then he remembered.
With the light from the TV as a guide, he quickly raced upstairs and his heart almost fell when he noticed that Tim's bedroom door was wide open. To be sure, he peeped inside and saw that Tim was in fact gone. He raced towards the verandah, the scent was stronger and that's when he saw them. Tim was held against an extraordinarily beautiful woman whom he assumed to be Allettare. He watched as she jumped off the railing and without thinking, he jumped after them and was able to touch Allettare before they vanished.
