Henry: Showdown

I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning

7 AM

Charlotte hobbled  quietly back to her room and got into bed the familiar feeling of tiredness came back. She didn't know what to do and she didn't know how to stop her nightmares and she didn't want to talk about them. She heard Henry get up half an hour and get ready, he peeked in at her before going down stairs but she pretended to be asleep. Henry appeared in her room 25 minutes later carrying a breakfast tray with two bowls of cereal and some toast. 

 Wake up, Sleepy head, I know you need your rest but you also need to eat so you can o back to sleep when you've finished.  Charlotte pretended to wake up and Henry put the tray down on the bed, she was still really tried but she was also hungry so she grabbed one of the bowls of cereal. Henry started eating too and they enjoyed a comfortable silence with Henry feeling at ease not having to fill the silence. He quickly finished his cereal and was munching on some toast whereas Charlotte was still halfway with her cereal. 

I was thinking of staying home today and looking after you, you know waiting on you hand and foot and taking care of your every need. Henry said in an appealing voice. Charlotte just looked  at him sternly but was dying to laugh it didn't surprise her that he was trying to use this as an excuse not to go to school. 

Ok, fine I'll go to school. He said slightly pouting. Charlotte couldn't help but giggle at his antics which also made Henry smile. Charlotte finished most of her cereal and Henry took the tray downstairs before heading to school he quickly came back to check Charlotte was going to be ok. 

  You know where the shower is and there are clean towels but that's the only I want you to do. Henry said seriously. I need you to keep your phone on because if you fall, You can just call me. Jasper said he would come by at lunch and Piper and Lauren are going to come back after school and keep you company and make sure  I'm looking after you properly.  Henry finished and then tried to remember if there was anything else he should say. 

Charlotte just nodded the idea of having a shower appealed as hopefully it would wake her up a bit. Henry went over and hugged her before rushing out the room as he was late, he shouted bye as he shut the front door. Charlotte couldn't help but smile even though he hadn't slept well and was tired just a simple hug from Henry was enough. 

At School

Piper! Piper! Piper! Jasper yelled as he was following her down the hallway .

What, Jasper? Piper Yelled as she violently turned around.

What do you think about the idea? Jasper asked

I think it's a crazy idea because I have done it before and I am not doing it again. Piper reminded Jasper. 

Oh come on we should at least talk abou-- 

Hey Guys. Henry screamed as he scared the living daylights out of the two . 

HENRY!!!! The two of them screamed as they were jolted from the conversation they just had. 

So, What were you guys talking about? Henry asked in a curious tone. 

uuhhhhh...Piper? Jasper said in a nervous tone 

We were talking about what Jasper was going to make for Charlotte when goes over there for lunch. Piper added really quickly 

ok, then why can't you text her? Henry asked with his arms crossed. 

Because I didn't want interrupt your little romantic honeymoon with her. Jasper said bumping his arm against Henry who was starting to blush a little . 

Yeah, so have you talked to her about it? Piper asked

about what? Henry asked confused

Do I need to spell it out for you? it's obvious you have feelings for her. Piper said in a duh tone.
