There was no better time than the present. I wasn't waiting around until Deo attacked, I had to take the lead. And it was now or never too. Deo was strong, in more ways than one. But I've been up against strong men before. And they all failed trying to get me. This situation was going to be no different. I was making sure of it by facing the bullshit head on. Prince Deo was going to reap what he sowed.

"Okay ma'am...so you're telling me you don't have an appointment?" the lady at the front desk asked for the tenth time. "We can't let you see the prince without a scheduled meeting. This office is a place of business, not some social gathering. The prince is a very respected man who has a plethora of things to pay attention to. See yourself out."

My eyes jabbed into the lady's, and I took a moment to analyze her facial. She looked like a mixture of fright and apprehensiveness, but seemed to be trying her best to keep those emotions at bay. Surprisingly, my ice cold heart felt bad for her, and I decided to reel back in the intimidation techniques that I planned for her. The lady swallowed and looked away from me. She shuffled papers and fixed items on her desk. Yeah, it was time to try another angle.

I slouched my arm on the woman's desk, drawing myself closer. "Hey, you didn't hear this from me...but Deo impregnated my little sister. He absolutely forbade her from coming here, and I'm their only means of communication. She's about to push the baby out and I have some information to give him regarding that. Can't you just look the other way while I go in? I promise I won't take up much of his time. This is an extremely private matter, and I think you should treat it as such."

The lady's eyes widen with...shock, horror maybe. She nodded quickly and pointed to the door of Deo's office. I winked at her as I walked away, but rolled my eyes at how gullible she was. This was too easy. And it shouldn't be. Deo had some real clowns around him, but what more could I expect? He was the head clown in charge.

Pulling the door open with great force, I walked my sexy ass in the office like I owned that bitch. I wished I could have captured the look on Deo's face when he saw me, it was a true kodak moment. This motherfucker went from startled, to amazed, then angry. And I hated that the latter was making my pussy tingle.

"Raja." Deo cooed after taking in my presence. "What a wonderful surprise, have a seat."

Sitting seductively on one of the prince's guest chairs, Deo collected his facial expressions and now had a smile plastered on his face.

"I guess king daddy didn't take heed to what I said." I announced, lapping my legs. "I see you're still in power, causing all sorts of havoc and shit."

Deo glared back at me, and his true feelings came alive. The prince sat back in his seat and watched me intently. I could be wrong, but he looked turned on. He looked like he wanted to rip my clothes off and have his way with me on his desk. And I might have wanted that too if he wasn't a conniving, bitch ass, despicable piece of shit.

"You never cease to amaze me." Deo responded. "From the moment you left my apartment, I knew you were going to kick in another gear. You hate threats. But to go consult my father? A person you know I'm on shaky terms with? Oh, that's lower than low. You truly have no stop button. And I can't wait for the day it comes back to bite you in the ass."

I smirked. "I can't wait to see that day either. Deo, do you really think you're doing the right thing? How do you sleep at night knowing you're about to cause such an upheaval for lower income households? You're about to leave thousands of people jobless, homeless, and God knows what else just so you, Stanley and whoever else can reap the benefits? You disgust me in every way! I'll never sit by knowing that and not do something about it!"

"Raja, what the fuck are you talking about?" Prince Deo snapped. "What Stanley is planning to do is fucked up, but I have no ties with that! I'm disgusted that you even think I would be in cahoots with something like that! That has nothing to do with me and I've already tried to talk him out of it! Unfortunately, he's not hearing much people out these days, and there's only so much I can do. Raja, I linked with the mayor because he's one of the few powerful men who can assist me with this program I started. I'm working on a project to get more Africans enrolled in these prestigious schools out here so they can further their studies and have other opportunities. I want my people to have endless choices, whether it be in their home nations or aboard. Raja, you are so wrong about me. I almost wish now that we had a conversation about this, so you wouldn't have pulled my backward ass father into this. I actually care about this project Raja! This was the one thing I was passionate about and you injured it with your meddling. My father doesn't understand that I need to go through the crooks to get where I need to be. He won't even hear me out because a hot headed prostitute filled his head with so much bullshit! So thank you Raja. Thank you for all you've done."

Shit. Speechless and stunned, that was Raja in this moment. I was incorrect about Deo, I was actually really really wrong. Deo breathed out heavily and took a sip of his bottled water. I've never seen him this distressed before. Oh Raja, you fucked up big time sis.

"What?" Deo continued. "You have nothing to say now? Is the infamous bad bitch Raja at a standstill? No more snarky comments left?"

"I apologize." I sighed. "I'm grown enough to admit when I'm wrong. I can't undo what I did, but I'll always try to fix my mistakes. I'm down for helping your cause however I can. I think what you're doing is commendable. But you're better off without Stanley. He'll probably find some way to ruin what you're building."

"You're right, and I'm glad I found that out sooner than later." Deo replied, rubbing his hands. "I not too long ago got off the phone with some investors who're interested in my movement, so I'm back on track. Turns out I didn't need Stanley after all. I'm flying my father in and we're going to go over the project as a family. I ain't thanking you or nothing but you brought my father and I a tad closer. He hasn't been right since my mother died. But you're right about the mayor, he is a problem. And he's doing more damage than you think. Raja, I honestly think you should leave this one alone. I know you wanna save the world in your own hoe-ish way, but this man right here is a beast."

"And telling me that is just going to wind me up more." I responded, jumping out of my seat. "But before I go, we need to talk Astra. Heard you been doing some fucked up shit to her and that don't sit well with me."

Deo nodded. "I owe her an apology and some money, which she'll get. But as of right now, I'm cutting you off. Let's go our separate ways peacefully. I honestly don't want no more trouble with you. Because if you can go to those measures of persecuting my father about my actions, ain't no telling what else you're capable of."

I smirked. "Understandable. But you'll be back."

Deo snickered. "Ain't that the truth."

I laughed at Deo's comment, and then I waltzed out of his office. I took a serious blow thinking that Deo was apart of the problem. I was wrong, I could admit it. Although I didn't fully trust him anymore, Deo was no longer a threat to me. And that was one less problem. The prince situation was settled, and now it was time to place all my focus on the bitch ass mayor. I smiled softly as I walked out of Deo's office, clutching onto my phone which had a recording of everything Deo and I just shared. The recording was meant to be used on the prince, but now it was just adding to the evidence I needed to take down Stanley. I had to take down this mayor, by any means necessary.
