Chapter 20: "The Aftermath"

After Rose, Zeph, and William defeated the Lieutenants, Captain Hanson and Thomas were in an intense fight both were slashed up and bleeding. "look around you, you're the last one left standing my rebel kids defeated your Lieutenants surrender now or die," said Thomas.

Captain Hanson looked around and saw that he was alone he tried to escape and ran into Zeph and the others, " I surrender," said Captain Hanson, he was then restrained, " is the dungeon still intact, cause that's the only place good enough for you," said William.

Captain Hanson and Lt Lynn got locked up in the Dungeon of the Central Kingdom.

Rose used her Recovery Light to heal Thomas and the others by this time all the people in the ruins of the Kingdom saw and heard everything that happened when they saw William they all bowed before him, and William looked around at the people.

 "Rise up, for too long now you have been oppressed and dismayed, no more will you be treated as less, as of now all of that will be no more, I am here now to protect all of you and to rebuild our once Great Kingdom, I know I can't do this by myself so I will need all the help I can get and I want us all to work together as one people so that we can have a strong and productive family living in peace and harmony," said William the people started to cheer for him they chanted "Prince William! , Prince William!"

Not long after the news spread throughout the Central Kingdom of how the Son of King Cresswell and his friends came and defeated the Captain and Lieutenants of the East Kingdom, a few days later people from the surrounding villages came to see the Prince and his friends they brought with them gifts of all shapes and sizes.

The work on the Castle and its surrounds had begun, "You did it, William, the people are smiling they seem so happy that they are no longer being terrorized by the East and West kingdoms' soldiers anymore we just have to make sure it stays that way," said Rose.

"Yes that's true Rose I will protect them as long as I have breath in my body, I couldn't have done this without you guys, thanks again for helping me," said William he then smiled," I'm happy that I could've helped," said Rose as she blushes.

Zeph then nods his head, "It feels good to be back I know my family is smiling now, I'm glad we got rid of those bastards," said Thomas, they all agreed, "Rose, Zeph, there is one more thing I want to talk to you about," said William.

Back in the East Kingdom the soldiers who survived the attack had just made it back and they brought back the remains of the fallen lieutenants, " what happened?" asked Major Smith, "Who did this?" asked Colonel Sterling.

"Where are Captain Hanson and the lieutenants?" asked King Naseem, "We were attacked by some strong rebels and one of them turned out to be the Son of King Cresswell, Captain Hanson, and Lt Lynn were either captured or presumed dead my King.

"We barely made it back my King," said one of the Soldiers "Cresswell's Son, did this?" asked, King Naseem," yes my King," said one of the soldiers," I thought he perished in the fire along with his mother and father," said King Naseem. 

"Lt Gregg and Lt Jack didn't make it, they fought with all they had, we brought back their remains," the Major and Colonel were furious, " My King can you grant me permission to avenge our fallen comrades, those children should be taught a lesson, how dare they defy the East Kingdom?" asked Major Smith.

 King  Naseem was waist-deep in thoughts, " I see, what a strange turn of events, stand down Major this is a delicate situation, send word to the West Kingdom let them be aware of what has taken place, and bury the fallen, you are all dismissed," Said King Naseem.

The king then retired to his chambers, he told the guards at the door that he doesn't want to be disturbed.

After entering his Chambers he drew a sheet from over a tall rectangular mirror he had in one corner of his chambers, the glass in the rectangular frame was pitch black he then said "Revelare" and the King of the Dark Nation then appeared in the mirror, King Naseem then bowed and said, "My King, a new situation has risen, do you remember the rebel I was telling you about, who attacked my men with the mace of magic awhile back in the ruins of the city?"

"Yes," said the Dark Nation's King, well he turned out to be the Son of King Cresswell and he as friends with him who bare the magical items we have been searching for, he also as the First King's Sword, I sent some men to gather information on them in the ruins of the city but they were attacked and defeated by Cresswell's son and his friends," said King Naseem. 

"This is very interesting, maybe we can use this new situation to our advantage, don't attack them any more be a good neighbor and go welcome the Prince, I will let the Dark-Hunters deal with this, Hex as something she has been working on and I think it would be perfect for the young Prince," said the Dark King, ok my king and the mirror went pitch black again.
