Chapter 5: "Debriefing"

Back in the East Kingdom one of the soldiers that got defeated by William was to report on the incident to his superior, "did you see his face?" asked Captain Hanson, the soldier said "no sir I didn't, he was wearing a cloak and he had a Mace with him.", "a mace?" asked the Captain, "yes sir I have never seen a mace like that one before, I can't remember all the details of it exactly," said the soldier while rubbing the back of his head.

"Did the Mace look like this?" asked Captain Hanson, he showed him a replica of the Mace Of Magic, and he said, "yes that's it," the East and the West Kingdom were very keen on cracking down on any spark of rebellion, so when the soldiers got beaten they had to look into it.

"Ok, you are dismissed soldier," said the Captain, Captain Hanson Thought to himself "a magical item, after all these years, now what would a peasant be doing with something like that, could some filthy rebels be trying to stir up the people, were we right about King Cresswell having the magical items there all along."

After the debriefing Captain Hanson requested a meeting with King Nahseem, he told him of the situation that occurred in the ruins of the city," this is interesting, make the retrieval enticing for the lieutenants ok, we need that magical item," said King Nasheem, after that, Captain Hanson called a meeting he sent for the first lieutenants in the kingdom. 

"Ok, listen up men and woman after all these years one of the magical items that we have sought has finally surfaced, the Mace of Magic, a young man in the ruins of the castle of the Central Kingdom attacked some of our soldiers a few days ago, we need to go and make an example of it and retrieve the Mace for the king, anyone of you who gets their hands on it first and brings it back to the king will be promoted but before that,

we need to track down the one who has it and his whereabouts there must be more of them plotting against us, I have dispatched some foot soldiers to maintain a strong presence in the area, someone, there must know who they are and they might know where the other magical items are, The First King's Sword, The Mace of Magic and The Bow Of Stribog, this is a direct order from the King! we leave in a week, you are dismissed," said Captain Hanson.

"Finally some fun, I get to bash some head in, I thought I was going to die from boredom," said Lt Gregg.

"I do need an upgrade so I'll be taking back that magical item to the king boys," said Lt Lyn, "don't get too full of yourself now Lyn, this is a team effort don't lose sight of that," said Lt Jack," yea Jack is right, I'm just interested in crushing those rebel bastards how dare they make us look bad, they will regret the day they stood up against the East," said Lt Gregg.

"Oh how patriotic," said Lt Lyn mockingly," Lyn, stop that, just be ready, see you guys later," said Lt Jack. 

The other three magical items are no longer in the country, the East and the West Kingdoms think what they have are the real weapons but they are just replicas of the real thing, with the fake ones locked away in their vaults, the real weapons are actually in the Dark Nation.
