Chapter 45: "Trespassers"

"Welcome back brother, you and the others have been gone for about a week now, I'm glad you are back, the city looks amazing, there is so much to see and do here," said Deana," yeah we had a lot of bonding to do, I'm glad you like it if you see anything that needs improving don't hesitate to tell me, where is Evelyn and Joy?" asked William.

"She said she was going back to the village to get some stuff she wants here and she took Evelyn with her," said Deana," oh ok, did Beatrice go with her?" asked Rose," no she is with John he is still unconscious," said Deana, "oh ok pardon me I will go check on him," said Rose, "ok Rose, I will be there shortly," said William.

"Ok I'm going to get some rest so see you guys later," said Evan, " She likes you, William," said Deana," huh, what are you talking about sis?" asked William, Zeph started laughing, "why are you laughing?" asked William, "you remember that time at the inn, and I said one day I will tell you, well your sister said it," said Zeph.

" Yeah, say what, how do you know that sis?" asked William, "I'm a girl I know these things," said Deana," well maybe it's something else," said William, "Beatrice im back, hey Francis, how is he doing now?" asked Rose.

"He is doing ok, his wounds are healed but he hasn't woken up as yet," said Beatrice, "that's good to know, Francis you need to get some rest you look like you haven't slept in days," said Rose," I will be ok, I just want my father to wake up," said Francis," he will just give him some time," said Rose.

"This is it, the village hidden deep in the mountains of the Central Kingdom it took me a long time to find this place," said the man who brought them to the village, "would you look at that, we would have never figured out that it was right here, we came close," said Blaine, "now about my payment," just before he could finish talking Shadow froze him solid, "Shatter," said Shadow.

As they entered the village an elderly man said, "Who are you people, you are trespassing here."

"Now, now is that the way you welcome your visitors," said Malik, Shadow, Malik and Blaine went on to attack the villagers, destroying their homes, some of the villagers tried to defend themselves and the village but they were no match for Shadow and his team.

Joy heard the commotion and told Evelyn to hide, "shhh, don't make a sound Evelyn," whispered Joy to Evelyn, Joy then went outside to see what was causing the disturbance," who are you people and how did you find this place?" asked Joy.

Joy then noticed their outfit, "the Dark-Hunters!" she thought to herself, Shadow then fired an ice attack at Joy but a young man jumped in front of Joy and the attack froze his arm, Joy was astonished, "Such bravery, run to the city and tell the prince that we are here waiting for him," said Shadow to the young man.

A journey that would normally take two days took one for the villager, he ran until he couldn't feel his legs, he just kept going, his left hand was frozen solid in a block of ice that was very hard to melt, he knew his people were in big trouble and only William could save them from those unwanted visitors.

As he made his way closer to the castle he cried out, "Prince William!" William did someone just call out your name?" asked Deana, "yea I heard it too," said Zeph, the young then collapsed after calling out his name again, before he could reach the castle's gates.

William and the others quickly made their way to him, "this is Ken, he is from the village hidden in the mountains, something must have happened," said William, "ken, ken, wake up," said William as he shook him, "what's up with his arm?" Asked Zeph, he started to come around.

"Prince William, they attacked the village, three of them, a black cloak with a strange symbol, he then passed out again.
