So basically what happened was that I realized that I was staying with Tomoda because of comfort.

It was comfort, not love

He helped me when I needed him the most, he was there when I was sad and depressed and I got used to him

Plus the pressure from Yamaguchi made me buy into these fake emotions even more

I should have realized earlier

After your messages I evaluated the situation and realized just how blinded I was

I was so afraid to lose the comfort and so afraid of hurting a friend that I was submissive to their needs

As Hanamaki looked around his eyes finally caught the figure prancing towards him. He was as stylish as always, those ripped jeans really wrapped around his strong legs nicely, and that bomber jacket just added to the "bad boy" vibe. Hanamaki couldn't peel his eyes off of the male, even when he was standing mere inches away from him.

Matsukawa must have misread the situation, for him it seemed like Makki was zoned out, so he pulled the other into a hug. Makki... relaxed, almost instantly as a matter of fact.
