My school's cafeteria is the noisiest place on the planet. I honesy do not understand why people feel the need to talk and laugh so loudly. It's like a competition, and different groups are trying to prove to others that their table is the loudest.

"So you're just not going to get your community service hours, then?" Asked Ella, eating her sandwich.

"No, I'm just not tutoring anymore. I'll probably just do some volounteering." I replied.

"Wow Theo must've fucked you up real bad." She said

"He's insane."

"Well you know, my sister is actually looking for some help at her event. I'm sure she'd be glad to sign your C.S. slip if you help her out."

"I don't know, El." Sonia is Ella's 24 year old sister. Compared to her, Ella is the quiet, good girl. Sonia is absolutely wild. She's a nice person though. "How many hours?" I asked.

"Shouldn't be less than 10 hours."

"That's actually pretty good." I admitted

"What do you mean pretty good? That's like a week and a half of tutoring. It's great, and you're doing it. I'll text her."

"When is it though?" I asked

"Either tomorrow or Sunday. I'll tell her to call you."

It was 11 pm, and I was just about to fall asleep when suddenly my phone began ringing.

"Hello?" I said, not quite sure if I was awake or not.

"Hey bitch! It's Soni. Are you drunk or what? You sound like you're dying." She laughed

"No, I was just about to fall asleep." I smiled.

She has this contagious positive vibe that I hate and love at the same time.

"Well you better go back to sleep quick then, because you're working for me from noon till midnight tomorrow."

"Huh?" I was confused

"El told me you want to get some hours."

"Oh. Right, that."

"That's a yes, right?" She asked

"I think?"

"Great, don't let me down. I'll come pick you up at 12pm." She said and hung up.
