"Wait!" he yelled

I stopped and turned around. I don't know why I did, but I turned around and just stood there.

"Just." He struggled to come up with something to say. "I can't be stuck with this course next semester."

"Are you asking me if I can tutor you?" I asked, slightly amused.

"That's not what I said."

"Well then, please enlighten me." I slowly walked back towards him, "What is it that you're asking?" I knew I was pissing him off, but for some reason it was kind of funny.

"You're insane." He rolled his eye

"You too." I said, giving him a smile as I walked back into the room.

He followed me in after what was probably the loudest sigh ever.

We sat back down at the desk and I opened the book to the chapter about Cellular Respiration.

"Okay so first of all you need to know that the cellular respiration reaction is basically the opposite of photosynthesis."

I could tell he wasn't paying attention though so I stopped talking.

"Um Hello? Are you listening to me?" I waved my hand in front of his eyes.

He looked at me straight in the eyes, with absolutely no emotion. He did not speak a work.

"You have to help me out here. At least try." I tried to sound as calm as I could.

"Fuck, I'm listening. Cellular respiration is the opposite of photosynthesis. I got it, move on."

"Great. So during cellular respiration, carbohydrates are used up and energy is released so-"

The bell suddenly rang and Theo immidiately stood up. Wow, he was really excited to leave. How was I supposed to teach this guy? All he did was waste time and act like a dick.

I stood up and lifted the textbooks. Theo placed his bag on his shoulder and just stood there looking at me.

"What?" I said, looking at him from the corner of my eyes as I lifted my bag.

"What's your name?" He asked.

Huh? This boy was so confusing. I couldn't tell if he hated me or not. I didn't understand if he was happy or pissed. I just didn't get him.

"Sara." I replied and left quickly, before he had the chance to say anything else.

I walked down the hallway and somehow he caught up with me.

"Wait so are you the girl who got arrested at that wild party a few streets down Nic's?" He asked.

I was shocked. How did he even know about that? He and I had never even seen each other before and he knew about what happened to me on Friday.

"That's me." I sighed and raised my eyebrows.

"That's pretty epic though." He smiled as he walked beside me.

"There's nothing epic about it. It was a misunderstanding." Why was I explaining myself to him? And why was he suddenly so interested in me? Is it because he thought that I was some badass party bitch or something?

"I heard there was a shitload of coke and heroin at that place." He said, completely ignoring the fact that I just said "It was a misunderstanding."

We were already at the locker area so I just walked away.

"Wait, hold on." he said in his boyish yet somehow masculine voice, "There's this music festival coming up this weekend and I'm going with a bunch of friends. You should come."

I was definitely not expecting that. So he hated me until he found out that I got arrested at a party, and now I'm automatically cool.

"Look, I'm not at all a party girl okay? The only reason I got arrested is that I was carrying my friend home, and she happened to be high as hell when we were walking past that house. I haven't even technically been to a party. I have absolutely no idea how to do the whole rave thing."

He stood there and silently looked at me.

"I don't believe you." He said

"That's too bad." I shrugged.

"Come with me." He looked me in the eyes. "I garantee you, you are going to have the time of your life."
