I've been doing a lot of writing, the problem is that it isn't on this book. Don't worry thought, this book is still going to have its ending.

*Lance's POV*

I've would be lying to say that I'm not the least bit nervous about this. After some serious thinking, and maybe a little talking with Shiro and Adam because Shiro sucks with dating advice, I have come to the conclusion that tonight is going to be the night. I wanted it to be a birthday gift to him, but after seeing him this morning and talking to him, I wanted to make sure he knows that he is mine. I want him to know that whatever is on his mind is also my problem as well as his.

Keith looks over at me, wondering why I was just staring for a second, not starting up the car. Before he could says anything, I snapped out of my thoughts and started the car, pulling out of the drive way before heading off. My heads tighten around the steering wheel for a moment, but Keith puts his hand over mine. I look at him for a split second before looking back at the road. He just pulls my hand off the steering wheel and intertwines our fingers.

The car ride is silent, but it's a peaceful silence. I could tell Keith is wondering where we are going, but not once has he asked.

Finally, we have arrived at our destination, which is kind of an odd place for a date at first, but also perfect. It's a park and also happens to be the one with a lot of history behind it and memories that aren't always the best to remember. Either way, there is a huge field with a perfect tree for shade, but also a mountain view to watch the sunset with it just admire in general.

"Um, Lance, what are we doing here?" Keith ask, breaking the silence as I walk over to open the car door for him. I give him a smile. "I know that you are not a person for dates, so I thought that we could have a private pic-nic and watch the sunset. Some of that really clichè stuff." I give a nervous laugh, rubbing my neck with blush on my face. He blushes well, but just smiles in the end.

I grab his hand and we both start to walk through to park, stopping at the all well known bridge for a moment. "I feel like it's kind of funny to think about have many time I have ran to this place for so many things, yet here I am with the person who makes me the happiest." Keith says, walking over to the ledge for moment and looks down at the rushing water below. He pulls out a coin from his pocket before closing his eyes and flicking it into the rushing water.

"What did you wish for?" I ask, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "Maybe one day you will find out." Keith says, placing a kiss on my cheek. I let my arm loosen from around him, not exspecting that answer.

Keith turns around and looks back at me with a smile, walking backwards a little. "Lets go before we lose our spot." I pop back up to reality before smiling and walking over to him.

The walk to our little spot was not far at all. All you have to do is go behind some trees and benches and then there is the hill. I lead him to the blue blanket that is laying on the ground before sitting down beside him.

There is a basket, that we literally just bought today for this, that has an array of different foods, all mostly made by Hunk. They were the ones who came here to see everything up, they being Hunk and Pidge.

I take out some of the food, it mainly consisting of some sandwiches and a whole bunch of desserts. I hear Keith laugh, shaking his head. "It's actaully really cute how it's all so simple. I feel like it is just pure desserts though." Keith says, grabbing a sandwich and unwrapping it from the plastic wrap.

I grab a sandwich of my own, responding before I actually take a bite. "Simple is always the best though. Also, desserts are great so yeah." Keith just hums with a smile, then takes a bit as well as me.

Once both of us had managed to eat two sandwiches, the sun started to go down do we took this as our chance to start eating desserts. "I got to remember to thank Hunk next time I see him for the sweets." Keith says, take a bite of some cookies. It does not matter that we are out od high school now, no one is too old for home made chocolate chip cookies.

I nod and we both look into the sunset, admiring as the colors started to fill the sky. I took this as my chance to pull out the box, but now is just the timing.

"I feel like it is so ironic that as people, we admire such things as the sun setting, but there is alway going to be another day for it to do the same thing. As people we alway feel like we don't have enough time, but there are also those times when there is too much. Kind of interesting, isn't it?" Keith starts to explain, the vibrant colors reflecting off his eyes as he look over to me with a smile. His indigo eyes blend with the multiple color. Blues, pinks, oranges, purple, all mixing to add a new sparkle to his perfect unique eyes.

I smile and give a nod. We both turn back to the sky, but I take this as my chance to talk. "As humans, we can't understand the concept of time, or of life. We just simply go with it. And we also spend it with those we love and cherish. That's why I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you join me in this long road of life and time?" I finish, turning to him with the box open and in hand. It's not the most formal proposal, but we're both sitting.

He turns his head and looks at me in confusion for a second, before his eyes widen. Tears start to form in his eyes. "Is this what I think it is?" He ask, holding back as much as he can. I give him a nod and just breaks down. "Yes, you dumby. I would travel the universe for you." He says, slowly falling into a hug. I wrap my arms around him awkwardly, the box still being in my hand.

"Will you let me out the ring on your finger now?" I ask pulling away from the hug. He just blushed and holds out his hand, and I slide and silver band, with with small diamond embedded in it, onto his finger. I pull his hand up to my face before kissing the ring. "Now you are mine. No take backs." I says, in a joking manner. He just shakes his head jokingly. "I don't want a tale back so no need."

With that, I connect our lips, slowly enjoying it in the calmming environment and the gentle summer breeze. The kiss is slow and gentle, but still full of passion. We fall back against the soft blanket, me kind of towering over him a little. "You look cute like this." I whisper to him, my hands on either side of his head.

He blushes a dark red color, even though it's hard to see from the darkening sky. He pushes me off of him playfully and we both lay on our backs, admiring as the sky slowly shifted darker and darker until the first star started poking out.

We sat there for an hour or so, maybe longer, having a small converation every now and then. Then the stars came out and we just enjoyed each others presents.

My thoughts fade away when I hear a soft snore come from the boy from me. His breathing had slowed down by now, and he is passed out cold. His long hair hangs over his long eyelashes. I couldn't help but look at his beautiful face that looks so peaceful during his sleep.

I brushed a strand of hair out of his face before putting everything in the basket. Slowly, I pick up the smaller boy bridal style in my arms, the basket hanging off my arm. I carefully carry him up the hill and walk to the car, being careful not to move him too much.

I lay him down in the front seat, buckling him up. I watched as his chest rose and fell, a smile on my face. No, I'm not creepy. It's just nice to see him sleeping peacefully for once.

I get into the drivers side and start up the engine, slowly driving to our new shared home.
