A Prose With No Direction

Awoken by White and Wings

I am awaken to the sound of wings flying. 

Wings against wings soaring through the air, making a sound as loud as a strong gust of wind.

I hear the sound of crows, a flock of them, passing through the rays of the sun that penetrate past the thin white curtains. I'm not exactly sure where I am, but I can see from my small, blurry sight that I'm in a room of white, a beeping noise endlessly sounding from the right of me. 

The crows caw even louder.

"Oh, you're awake," a semi-sweet voice says, and I moan as I turn to face her, my head hurting terribly. "You just missed your visitor. He left a few minutes ago. But don't worry, he said he'll come back."

I groan and mumble the words, "Visitor?"

"Yes," the lady replies and slowly my vision returns. "Apparently, he is the reason why you're still alive. If not for him, you would've bled to death."

"Death?" I groan. Something wraps around my arm, and the lady secures it tightly. I flinch. "W-What is that?" I quickly take it off.

She looks at me oddly. "I'm just checking your blood pressure, sweetie," the lady says. "No need to be afraid." She attempts to wrap it around me again.

"No, no, no, no." I shake my head violently, jerking my arm away. "It's squeezes too tight."

"I promise it doesn't hurt, Clara," she reassures.

"C-Clara?" I repeat.

The door of the white room reopens, and a tall boy walks in, multiple bags of McDonald's nuggets and burgers in arms. 

"Oh, you came back quickly," the lady says, assisting the boy with his haul. "She finally woke up."

"Thank God!" He exclaims, eyes making contact with mine.

Immediately, I recognize his crystal eyes. 

So mesmerizing.

So intriguing.

So beautiful.

Eyes that resemble the eyes of the ocean.

"Ocean eyes," I mutter quietly.

His eyes flicker with recognition as well, but don't light up in surprise. 

His lips raise into a pretty-girl smile.

"Hey."

He says.
