A country is divided.

A divide caused by one man, one movement, one race.

The human race.

The country is divided.

One side filled with flowers, peace, patience, and determination.

While the other filled with fire, chaos, anger, and ridiculousness.

I am fucking finished.

There's nothing else to say but shame on those who throw torches at businesses just reopening. Shame on those who rule the streets with chaos. Shame on those who make others fighting for the same cause cower in fear.

Shame on those who fight for the sole purpose of fighting.

I know.

We're angry.

Angry that a society as modern as this still struggles to see the equal worth bestowed to us as humans, a worth that is the same as the white CEO of the Tower in Manhattan and a worth that is the same as the colored woman working three jobs while living in a ghetto.

I get we're angry and disappointed as the people of our own race—one race, the human race— fail to treat one another as their own kind, their own species, and that the government and its leadership has also failed to handle the situation and promote equality.

I get that we're angry.

I am angry as well.

Angry that our brothers and sisters in this nation, and even in other countries spread out across the planet, still fight for the equality we all deserve and should have gotten the moment we were born.

But even if we're angry, even if we want change, leading a movement of anger and chaos will NEVER accomplish anything.

Leading something in hopes to gain attention and change through anger will, unfortunately, never be accomplished.

Yes, we're angry.

But convert that energy we invest so much time on anger into determination. Convert your anger towards the people around the nation and around the world who still oppress people for their own race, gender, sexuality, religion, and other prejudices into a strong will, determination, and spirit that'll actually impact the world for the better.

We should also convert our anger and powerful energy into an energy that will allow us to educate the world about the events happening today. Use that energy to educate the old generation, reminding them that their racist, sexists, homophobic ways are no longer accepted in this world and only deteriorate our society. Use that energy to especially educate the younger generation, the people who are being raised to lead this world into a brighter future, educating them that racism, sexism, prejudices, discriminations, and the many other issues we are fighting for today will never, ever resolve nor help anyone.

That the ways of the generations before us won't make this world a better place.

The only reason why racism still lives and reigns today is because children are taught from the very beginning, from their parents, that it's okay to say nigger to an African American person, that it's okay to say slanted-eye chinks to asians, and so forth.

The only reason racism still is present today is because we are taught by our mothers and fathers that it's okay to label and name other people to degrade their worth.

A prejudice that's been passed down for generations, from father to son, mother to daughter, only continues this never ending cycle of discrimination and hate.

So, the first step to achieving that goal for world equality is to stop educating hate and start educating acceptance and love.

That is the first out of many steps into achieving the world we all hope for.

Bringing chaos, fire, and destruction is not a step towards this goal, people.

It's only a step backwards from the peaceful, loving, and accepting society we all want to live in.

This is an old and cliche saying, but violence is never the answer.

But neither love alone can solve this issue.

Not in this modern world.

Violence won't solve the issue, my friends.

Understanding, consideration, patience, and rationality will.

That is all I will say regarding this topic.

Because like I said, I'm fucking finished.
