Moments later, on the other side of the main square, chaos set in. The crowds started to part, revealing several horses and guards of a different color and crest. Iris and Lola were split up, and Iris caught a glimpse of Lola being trampled to the ground before the same happened to her.
"Lola?" She yelled, brushing herself off, her knees bloodied and scratched. A small girl sat on the ground beside her, head hung and crying. Iris lifted the child up and held her close so she wouldn't get pushed around, "Where's your mother?"
The girl pointed and continued to sob. A woman with short raven hair and a long brown dress was where the child reached out. Iris pushed through the remaining crowd and handed the small girl to the woman.
"T-Thank you, oh my little girl thank you!" The woman exclaimed, rushing away in the opposite direction with her child.
"Good people, we apologize for our intrusion. We are in search of four people who must report to your palace at once before the king. If they do not show themselves at once, we will be forced to seek them out ourselves. Their names are as follows," The man speaking had a booming voice which sounded over the crowd and silenced it at the same time. His eyes were silver in color and his hair was a dark, and deep brown, almost black, "Andres, Iris, Jared, and Lola."
