A Great Fairytale of Alex Montez

Chapter 5

They meet up with Tom.
Tom: what happened?
Jace: quickly, get in drive [throws him the car keys] she was shot.
Tom: oh my!!
Jace gets in the backseat with her.

Jace: Alex, stay with me! Open your eyes please, open! [She opens with struggle; they open, shut, open then shut]
Jace: no, no!! Tom faster!

Tom accelerates. They finally arrive at the hospital. Jace carries her in he's arms and runs into the hospital.

Shawn: now who is she?
Jace: that's the granddaughter.
Shawn: okay. [He brings the bed with wheels and takes her in.]

There's a television that is on showing the kidnappers have finally being caught. People cheered in the hospital.

Will: thank God, something good out of all this.
Mia: guys the police are here.
Police Man: excuse me your majesties we need to take some statements.
Tom & Jace: sure [they go outside to discuss and tell them everything].

Alex stays in the hospital for about two days. Mia and Jace take turns staying with her. When she's finally okay and discharged she goes with Mia to her house.

Mia: [hugs her best friend] I missed you and I'm glad to see you
Alex: missed you too. [She sits quiet in the room and then cries] gammy!!
Mia: [sheds tears] It's okay, I'm here.
Jace: [walks in] we are all here.
Alex: [looks at him with so much anger] this is all your fault!
Jace: what did I do?
Alex: if I hadn't met you or known you I wouldn't have had to clash with your Jessie and I wouldn't have ran off and my gammy would be alive!!
Mia: Alex.....
Jace: it's okay. I understand.
[Jace feels really guilty and leaves]

Alex begins to stay with Mia and her family who are really nice people. Jace and Alex no longer spoke to each other, but often stare at each other. Mia also reduced speaking to them because she really cared for her best friend and she didn't want to give a chance of her being in contact with Jace. Though, she would wave at them when Alex wasn't looking. Jessie was so excited that Alex and Jace finally stopped hanging out and would often try her luck, but Jace was even colder towards her than before.

Mia: Alex, aren't you going to take a shower?
Alex: what's the use of going to school anyway? I have no one to care for anymore.
Mia: listen, [she sits next to her] you have a point you have no family at all. But Alex, what would your parents want? Your gammy? Don't you really love been an inventor and entrepreneur, or about discovering new things.
Alex: yes I do.
Mia: okay, [pulls her up] get up into the shower.

The class 2 and 3 members had written their mid-semester exams which determines whether one is staying in the same class, moving backwards or being promoted. Jace and his brothers did pass well, but were amongst top six and seven, hence they stayed in class 3. The three girls were just average as usual so they stay in 3. While the two best friends were the top two in class 2 so they moved to 3. They were so excited. Jace was watching from a distance and smiled at them. He's cousins were happy for them too.

Mia finds a sit somewhere in the centre and Alex only finds a sit next to Mia's row near her. The three girls come.

Truss: you're in my sit! Go get your own [Alex stands up about to go] fool! So hopeless.
Alex: [stops and turns around] you know what? [She sits], screw you! I'm tired of everyone always running me over. My gammy was run over, my mom was run over but it's time for a change. [Truss confused] You're lost right? That's how dumb asses always are, lost. You don't get it do you? You are just Jessie's little pet! Go get your own damn sit!
Truss: wha......
Alex: [puts her hand in the air to make her shut up] trust me you don't want to argue. Just be smart for once and go .......get ......your own ......sit. [Truss embarrassed and leaves].
Mia: [laughs].

The brothers smile at the back.
Lecturer: well okay, our visitors we welcome you [class laughs] okay, that was a joke we know you are here to stay. Okay, we revisit a few things a little bit for their sake then move forward. [Class continues].

Truss: she thinks she's all that, we'll show her!
Jessie: [snaps her fingers] hey, let's put our attention on the prize [she looks at the brothers] it's like fate, we are three, they are three. Just forget about her.
Truss: but........
Jessie: don't! [Gives an eye]
Truss: ..........
Jessie: that's what I thought. Girls it's our time.

Jessie and Jane laugh while truss keeps quiet. They all leave while Truss remains sited in disappointment.
The rest of the semester continues the same; same routines every day for everyone. Of course the girls never stop scheming for the brothers. At the end of the semester, all last semester students get to choose what they would do, class 3 chose to go out to a resort with many sites; like a river, a falls, wildlife and great food. They were all excited for this four days trip.
