A Great Fairytale of Alex Montez

Chapter 6

Everyone was ready and the bus came to pick them all up at school. The three brothers sat on a three seat, the three girls sat behind them and Alex sat with Mia on a two seat. The journey began. As usual, the three girls continued disturbing the guys by making chit-chats with them though they weren't interested, Jace wasn't even responding at all. The long journey finally ended, they arrived at their destination, the resort. It was a beautiful site to look at. People first settled down in their lodges and came out for fun. They spent it moving about and just relaxing, not much was done especially that most, of them had already been there.

The next day they were all well rested and ready for the fun. They started out by visiting the falls. There was a bridge which they had to cross to get to the other side where the falls was more visible. On both sides and underneath it were very deep waters anyone could barely survive especially if they couldn't swim.

Tom: guys let's go get snacks before we cross
Will: cool.....
Jace: you'll find me right here, you know what I like eat.
Will: okay bro [they left].

Tom: [as they walked] so I guess he's watching her
Will: [looks at him] yep.

Jace was truly looking at Alex while she sat down with Mia laughing and talking. While....
Jessie: look at her, I despise her so much you know
Jane: I know right
Truss: ............

Alex: [laughs] Mia can we go please, you may not be excited to see this because you've been here, well I haven't so can we go already?
Mia: [laughs] relax miss, we need snacks I'll go get, and since you are so excited you go I'll catch up.
Alex: now you're talking [laughs].

Alex begins walking slowly towards the other side as she watches other people play about. This place is always crowded with people each day. Jace watches Alex as she slowly walks on the bridge while Jessie waits for a moment when the bridge is so crowded for a move.

Jessie: watch this ladies [smiles].

Jessie intentionally bumps into Alex and she falls over the bridge but manages to hold onto the rails. No one notices that she was pushed and Jace couldn't see Alex anymore so he moves closer and sees her hanging. He rushes to her and stretches out his hand.

Jace: [with tears in his eyes] Alex, give me your hand, please. Look I know we're not on speaking terms, but please do take my hand. [She didn't].
Jace: [tears begin to fall from his eyes] Alex, please.
Alex:.............[She closes her eyes].
Jace: no, no! Please look at me. I beg of you, look I'm sorry. You're right it's all my fault I promise I'll do whatever you want. Just please take my hand. [She held one of his hands]
Jace: now, the other. I promise I'll catch you and pull you up.
Alex: [She looks at him and sheds some tears] Goodbye Jace, I love you.
Jace: [shaking voice] no, no, look at me [she releases herself from he's hand and falls into the water] ALEX!!!!!!

People are in shock. Then he jumped into the water swam in it for about three minutes searching for her. His heart racing and eyes sore, he finally found her. He swam out with her to the dry land and began pushing against her chest giving her a CPR.

Jace: [while pushing] Alex come on! [His voice was shaking and heart racing while people watched].

Mia and the brothers arrived. Mia started to cry while Alex wasn't responding. Jace then gives her a mouth-to-mouth for about a minute and then she coughed. Everyone was relieved she was okay. Jace took a deep breath of relief while hugging her really tightly.

Alex: I'm sorry.......
Jace: don't ever do such a selfish thing again [he carried her back to the lodges]
Mia: what happened?! Was that suicide or what!
Tom: Mia no, stop that's enough.
Alex: I'm sorry guys I thought.......
Mia: committing suicide is the only way?!
Tom: okay, Mia calm down she only had an emotional breakdown
Will: [in anger] what were you thinking trying to throw yourself down there?!
Alex: guys, [everyone was talking and yelling] guys!
Alex: it wasn't me! [They all kept quiet]
Jace: what, who was it?
Alex: it was Jessie she pushed me.
Jace: has it gotten this far?! You know what, I've had it with her!
Mia: I'm going to teach that B**** some manners!
They all stormed out.
