"Are you ready to order?" the perky brunette waitress, Brianna, asks us. We're sat in a booth relatively in the middle of the restaurant on opposite sides.

"Yes could I have the Simple and Fit vegetable omelette?"

"Sure thing, and you?" she asks, finally able to conceal her suprise about Harry being with me. When she first saw the two of us together with his hand on mine on top of the table she was unable to control her eyes widening. After she came back with the drink order she got better. Now she doesn't seem phased; that much.

"The double chocolate chip pancakes with sunny side up eggs and bacon," he tells her. "I know how to eat whereas this one swears to be healthy."

Brianna laughs and takes our menus. "Alright, I'll have that right out to you." She walks away and into the kitchen, leaving us alone again.

"So she's pretty cute, huh?" Harry asks me.

I spit my sip of water back into my cup and nearly choke. "What?"

"Relax, I'm joking. You're so fun to tease." He laughs at my expense and I narrow my eyes at him.

"Oh yeah? See that guy over there?" I ask, subtly gesturing to the guy who looks about 20 in a booth with some of his friends. "I think I may go talk to him. See if he wants to take me out sometime? Or maybe I'll just go over there and kiss him, right here right now."

Harry's hand grips mine tighter. "Like hell you will."

"See? It's not so funny after all, is it?"

"Point maliciously taken." He lifts my hand and kisses my knuckles before resting our elbows on the table. He runs his thumb along the skin that was previously at his lips as the guy and his friends actually look over at us. Harry doesn't seem to notice so I quickly look away and down at my lap. "What is it? What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I debate whether or not to tell him and my mouth opens before I think about it. "Just those guys over there were staring at us." I glance over at them and they're still looking. Can they just like.. I don't know, not? Harry looks over at them and his grip on me tightens again. He looks at me and then gets up to come to my side of the table. "Harry, what are you-" I'm cut off by his lips on mine. I can feel his smirk and I smile at his jealousy.

I make a point for us not to get too far in a public place, especially a restaurant where people are eating, but I let him have his fun with those guys. He pulls away a few seconds into the kiss and we both look to the group of guys. They look at us for a split second before darting their eyes away in all different directions.

Having made his point, Harry goes back to his side of the table and takes my hand in his. "Hey, so what were you and Annie talking about when I walked away today?"

"Me and who?"

I forgot he doesn't call her by her first name. "Professor Pierce. You guys were talking when I went to go talk to Lilly. What was that about?"

~~~Harry's POV~~~
Shit. I was hoping she wouldn't ask. I obviously know who Annie is, I just was trying to play dumb in order to buy myself some time. I know I promised not to lie to her anymore but this is small and it doesn't even matter. "She was just talking to me about one of my grades." Lie. She was really borderline threatening me not to hurt you, my subconscious says.
"You guys looked pretty serious for grades." She eyes me as she takes a drink of her water. She's suspicious I know she is. "I'm just gonna call you straight out. I know you're lying to me. I can tell when you're lying to me because you always blink a lot and you avoid eye contact when you're lying. Tell me what happened, now," she commands, all of her niceness gone. Damn her and her fucking questions all the time. She's so fucking nosey.
