Still Clarke's POV

Enjoy :)The third day of high school went by quickly. I enjoyed all my classes and ate lunch with Octavia and Bellamy. It seemed we were all enjoying the public school experience and it was fun to hear stories from the classes they were in.
At the end of lunch we ran into Monty and Jasper. They were both students at Ark and it was really good to catch up with them. After school I went home and did some homework, before dressing and getting ready for the memorial.
Tonight was going to be a hard night for a lot of people and I knew I was going to have to help in any way I could.
I was fully dressed and ready to leave when I saw a text flash on my phone. It was from Octavia saying she would be waiting for me outside of the theatre. I put my phone back into the clutch I was bringing, and walked outside. My mom was waiting for me in the car so she could drop me off at the memorial.
Once we arrived at school I hopped out of the car and walked towards the outside of the theatre. There I saw Octavia waiting for me and I gave her a small smile as I approached. We walked into the theatre together to see a beautiful memorial. The entire stage was filled with pictures, flowers and candles. Me and Octavia sat down a few rows away from the front and turned our attention towards the stage.
A few minutes had gone by and no one was talking. The only sounds that could be heard was crying.
About 10 minutes after we sat down, a woman walked on the stage with a microphone in hand ready to address the large room of people who had gathered for Anya's memorial.
"Tonight we gather here to honor Anya Lachman who we lost yesterday. Here to speak we have several members of Anya's family and several of her friends, who will be sharing their memories of Anya. Thank you all for coming."
The memorial was very sad, and almost everyone in the theatre was crying. The memories and pictures shared was overwhelming to anyone who knew her well or was even just a causal acquaintance. At the very end of the ceremony, they called up one final person to speak. I looked up to see Lexa walking onto the stage with her phone in hand.
"Hello everyone. Anya Lachman was one of my closest friends, and today I would like to share a video I have made of some happy memories with her."
Lexa then plugged her phone into a cord that was hooked to a Giant screen center stage, and a video began to play. Lexa continued to stand on the stage but was turned around away from the screen. I could tell that watching the videos was too painful for her and I watched as tears began to flood down her cheeks. After the video Lexa quickly walked off stage, And the memorial had ended.
As I stood to leave with Octavia I grabbed her arm and told her I was going back stage to look for Lexa. She said she would come with me to search for Lincoln and we headed towards the backstage area. Once we had walked in we saw Lincoln sitting on a bench alone, crying into his hands. Octavia quickly walked over to him and wrapped him in a tight hug. I was about to go over and sit next to Octavia when I bumped into Indra who was walking past me. Indra turned to face me with a worried expression on her face.
"Lexa is missing."
These words made me feel like a bowling ball had dropped to the pit of my stomach. Lincoln and Octavia quickly stood up from the bench and walked over to Indra.
"What do you mean?" Lincoln said shocked.
"I don't know what happened. After the video finished, she left. Her phone is still on stage and her bag is on the floor. I sent a few groups of people out to look for her but I need you all looking too." Indra explained.
"Last time Lexa went through a loss like this she fell in a dark spiral. We can't have her harming herself in anyway, we need to find her fast." Lincoln said as he wiped the tears from his face.
Indra nodded in agreement and gave us instructions. "Let's split up we will cover more ground faster. Everyone keep your phones on and call if you find anything."
We all ran out from back stage and split up to search for Lexa. I was very worried after hearing what Lincoln said about her potentially harming herself. I needed to find her before anything happened. The thought of losing her was one I could not think about. As I ran around the school searching, I decided to check the courtyard. At first when I got there I thought it was empty but then I heard a faint crying sound in the corner. I ran as fast as I could over to the crying and looked around for the source. Then as a I came around the big oak tree, I saw a figure curled up on the ground crying.
"Lexa?"
The figure continued crying and I couldn't make out who it was while they were squeezed down in a ball, so I bent down and reached my hand forward to tuck the persons hair behind their ears. As soon as I did that I could immediately see it was Lexa. I sat down on the ground next to her and didn't say anything. I took out my phone to text Octavia so she could tell Lincoln and Indra, but I was interrupted when a hand blocked my phone.
Lexa took one of her hands, and grabbed my right hang tightly holding on as tight as she could. As we held hands, I put my phone down and leaned my head against her shoulder. I didn't know why but I really had grown to care for Lexa. Seeing her sad for the past two days was heart breaking and I wanted to do anything I could to make her feel better. As I rested my head against her shoulder I slowly began to drift off to sleep. When I woke up again I didn't recognize my surroundings. I jolted up right immediately and looked at the area around me trying to recognize where I was.
"It's ok Clarke."
I looked to my side to see Octavia next to me with a hand on my shoulder. Then as looked around, and realized we were in a car.
"Clarke we found you with Lexa sleeping against the tree. Lexa had unlocked your phone with Face ID and called Indra and Lincoln to come get you. They are driving us home now."
I looked up to the front row of seats to see Lexa driving with Indra in the passengers seat, and Lincoln in our row next to Octavia.
"At least you found her Clarke." Lincoln said jokingly.
"I guess I did." I said as I looked out the window to see us driving down my street. The car had stopped in front of my house and Lexa exited the car and opened the door on my right. Octavia began to unlock her seatbelt to walk me to the door but Lexa held up a hand and said she would do it.
We walked to the door and I turned to go inside but was then stopped by Lexa.
"Clarke wait... I need to thank you for helping me today and yesterday. I get pretty sad when stuff like this happens, and it's really nice to have someone you can trust with you."
"If there is anything else you need please let me know."
"You have already done more then enough." Lexa said as she gave me a small hug before turning and walking away. She got back in the car and the group drove off.
I was beyond tired now and I slowly stumbled into my bedroom and once again collapsed on my bed just like the previous two nights before.
