I lay down in bed, still sad I got sent back inside, especially after seeing Chan again. I opened my window, leaning on the windowsill. "Y/N..." Felix groaned, but I quickly stopped him. "I know, I won't go out. Like I said, I just need some fresh air, that's all." My eyes lingered to my left, looking far into the woods. "Was it a dream?" I mumbled to myself, lightly touching my lips, thinking about Chan once more. How I hoped he'd somehow come back again, but I knew it was only a foolish wish.
"So, why are you always on the roof anyway?" I asked Felix, not looking at him yet simply in need of any conversation of whatever kind. Felix didn't answer, making me continue. "No really, every single night you're out here, like, what do you even do? Don't get me wrong, I love stargazing but even I have to admit it must be pretty boring to do every single night." Felix let out another sigh, throwing a small branch on the top of my head. "It's nothing you have to know" he answered annoyed.
"Geez, fine. So much for thinking you're actually nice" I spat back, forcefully closing the window again, feeling it just being kept open on only an inch open with his hand. I slowly removed my grip, falling down on my bed again. "I wasn't always here before you came" he started off awkwardly. "Frankly, I kind of blame you for it, but I know too that there's nothing you can do about it, and that you're not keen on staying here either." At least he knew?
Felix jumped off the roof, going down my window. He looked around, carefully holding the window open. "Just make sure you're not too loud with going up" he said, making me smile instantly. I could feel him push me up slightly when going up through the window again, sitting on top of the roof. Felix sat up as well, a few feet away from me.
He quietly pointed at the right, where the lights from the summer camp building were glowing. My eyes grew teary, making the lights become blurry. "How come they're so clear now, but I can't go out of here?" I asked inaudibly, desperately longing to go back home, with Chan, saving Seungmin from this place as well. Felix hesitated for a second, unsure of what to do or say. I smiled half-heartedly, wiping my tears away. "Sorry, you probably don't know either do you?"
I turned back to Felix, who's face became more uncomfortable by the second. "...do you?" I asked once more, growing slightly confused. Felix leaned back, looking up at the sky. "The only way to get out of here is if the line disappears, the one dividing these woods. When one of us, either them or us, kills the other 'team', the line disappears, together with what is keeping us here. It was established years ago to make sure no one would get in each other's territory, which would sort of cause peace. Especially with you here, a girl, and with mate season coming up, things are getting messy."
My brows furrowed, my face growing more concerned. "Wait, so you're telling me that in order to get out of here we have to kill those guys...?" My eyes widened, suddenly the switch flipping. "Don't tell me including Chan?" He stayed quiet, sitting up straight again. "You shouldn't worry about that too much for now, I feel like you've got bigger problems coming."
All of a sudden Felix stood up, picking me up and throwing me on the bed, quickly closing the window behind him from above. Only a second later Minho walked in, staring for a second. "Good girl, I thought you'd be trying to get out for sure again" he said cockily, leaning against the door. He lightly pushed himself off, walking my way. "Listen, I'm need you to stay at home tomorrow instead of going out with Seungmin" he started.
My confusion only worsened, just like my mood. "Why? You promised I could go out tomorrow!" I argued back. Minho sighed, now so close that he pushed me further down the bed, crawling on top. "I can't let even a chance exist that those guys try to mark you, not even with Seungmin around." I rolled my eyes. "Why is this suddenly such a big deal? Felix too, talking about mating and al-" Before I could finish my sentence Minho abruptly pinned me against the bed, his face only an inch away.
"Felix talked to you about mating? Why, the guy can't keep it in his pants?" he growled, his eyes growing darker. I couldn't move, simply keeping my eyes locked with his. "No, he was just talking about the line and all, saying that with mate season coming up things would get messy, but I literally don't understand a word of what he's saying. I thought there was a line to keep the peace for that kind of stuff. Also, why is there a line anyways if no one keeps to it? It's literally pointless."
Minho kept his eyes on me a little longer, groaning in annoyance before getting off again. "Don't bother trying to get out of here, I'm pretty sure Felix also told you how since you guys seem to be hitting off pretty well." He ran his hands through his hair, glancing up at the roof. "Guess if you talked to him more you hadn't been a good girl after all, maybe you don't deserve to be treated with such care after all, disobeying me like that."
He once again turned to me, eyes dark and hooded. "Wait, why did you come in here anyways? And what up with you? You've literally locked me up, how is that treating me nicely?" Minho chuckled, walking back and grabbing my collar. "I was going to tell you to be careful the upcoming weeks, even of us, but if you're acting like this I don't think I'll be as nice anymore. I've only touched you once all this time, but don't think I'll go easy on you now, my little toy" he growled before smashing his lips against mine again.
