Easier said than done when you're right in front of him, finally in his arms again.

The glass shattered into a thousand tiny pieces, waking me up instantly. Seungmin instantly pulled me off the bed behind him. He was ready to even kill, that's what his eyes said, until he realized who was in front of him. "Chan" he said, not wanting to believe it. "Seungmin" Chan answered, his gaze going from Seungmin to me.

"Y/N, quick, come with me. I can get us both out of here, we can finally be together!" Chan yelled desperately, a hopeful longing smile on his face. As soon as he put a step foreword, Seungmin put one step back, making me do the same with his arm right in front of me. "Seung...min?" Chan asked confused and hurt. Seungmin shook his head, looking more determined than ever. "I'm sorry Chan, but I don't think I can let her go anymore."

Chan looked away from Seungmin, catching my eyes. "Y/N, please. I don't know if I can ever see you again otherwise" Chan begged. Seungmin turned his head to me, his eyes looking like they were about to cry. "Y/N, please don't leave me" he whispered, his voice close to breaking down. My legs were frozen in their place, my heart racing. I couldn't do it. I couldn't choose. Not after everything that happened.

"God, you three are boring" another voice called out behind me, the door slowly opening wider. Within a split second Seungmin had me behind him again, facing Changbin. Chan didn't waste another second, throwing me over his shoulder. My eyes widened as I heard Seungmin scream my name once more, desperately trying to run up to me before being dragged back, until he had fully disappeared.

"Y/N, I got so scared" Chan cried out when we crossed the line, back at what seemed to be their cabin. He hugged me tighter than ever before, letting me listen to his heartbeat, which was beating loudly. "Chan..." was all I could say, finally crying out as well. Was it by any chance possible after all? To go back to the way it was with him? Could I even after what happened with Seungmin?

"Could you two like, not do this in the living room? I'd rather not barf all over the floor" Changbin suddenly called out, instantly making me shoot up. Chan however didn't seem to bother, simply keeping to hold onto me. Changbin solely had to stare at Chan or he finally let go. I looked at him in disgust at the things he did to me. For goodness sake, please don't let him get the idea ever again.

Changbin let out a sigh, rolling his eyes. "Listen Chan. So you know, the deal we made still stands, so don't get too relaxed here now." Chan finally backed away, still holding onto my pinky finger with his, luckily enough unnoticable. "I know... Just please let me talk to her for a bit more, it's been so long after all." Changbin gave a small nod, Chan not wasting any time in taking me into one of the rooms, probably his. We sat down on his bed, him Chan instantly taking me into his arms again. "You have no idea how glad I am I got you out of there" he whispered before pressing his lips against mine.

I wonder what's going on over there... would Seungmin be worried about me?

"Why the f*ck are we still here? Didn't you say you didn't want anyone to touch her? Well, I bet that guy Chan is touching her every-f*cking-where right now!" Seungmin yelled and cursed loudly at Minho, slamming his fist on the table. Minho finally looked up from his book, slamming it on the table as well. "Don't you think I'm annoyed? I know damned well what is going on over there, and I seriously don't like it either, but do you think I can afford to go there now? I'm not getting another one of us killed because of a girl so easily. We gotta plan this carefully you idiot!"

Seungmin let himself fall down in the chair, burying his head in his hands. He finally found someone he loved, someone he wanted to spend eternity with, someone who gave meaning to his unending life, and she got taken away. First Chan let her in his care, and now he suddenly wanted her back? No matter how good friends they used to be, there was no way he could let him have her. All he cared about was her. Her smile, her laugh, her soft skin, her touch, he wanted it all. All to himself. He'd deal with the other's here later, that wouldn't be a problem, but right now, he just had one problem he had to take care of. He couldn't let Chan win her heart back, no matter what.

"Baby, are you okay?" Chan asked worriedly as I reached for my head. I shook it, leaning it against Chan's chest. My head was killing me, more than it should be for any normal headache. Chan softly cupped my cheeks, lifting my head up again, his eyes meeting mine. He had the softest smile I had ever seen, so loving and tender. The smile that got me through all my hardships before. The smile before we got into this forest... before he took me in here... He looked so eager too... Too eager. I kept on gazing into his eyes, desperately trying to figure out the question that had been lingering on my mind.

"Chan, why did you want to go into this forest so badly?"
