I was standing in the kitchen making breakfast for Barry because it was his first day back at work since he got out of prison. I pulled the toast out of the toaster just as I felt hands wind around my waist, making me jump until I realized it was husband. I smiled as I finished fixing his plate, "Morning babe, breakfast is almost ready", I said. He started kissing my neck, "Well it looks and smells delicious as always but I'm not really hungry right now", he said between each distracting kiss.
I felt myself melting into him, "Wow, prison's made you a little... clingy", I joked. He held me closer to him as he continued his assault on my neck and shoulder blade, "What can I say? I missed my wife", he said. I laughed a little as I tried not to fall under his spell, "I missed you too but you have that forensic job to get back to", I stumbled, trying to find my words, "You're gonna be late", I said.
He turned me around to face him with a devilish smirk on his face, "I'm a speedster, we have all the time we want", he joked. I smirked, "Oh yeah, that's right", I said as I returned his kiss with just as much passion, if not more, as him.
Let's just say that by the time we thought about breakfast again, it was way too cold to eat...

"It's not permanent is it?", Caitlyn asked Barry as he looked sadly down at his CSI badge. Singh called him to his office to tell him that he was on leave until everyone really believes that DeVoe is alive. Barry shrugged, "He said it was indefinite", he told her. I looked at him, "Bar, he wouldn't have given you back your ID if it was for good. I mean, maybe this is for the best for now. We need to prove that DeVoe is alive and you can do that as The Flash", I assured him. He nodded, "Yeah, maybe", he said then looked at Caitlyn, "How are we doing with him, by the way?", he asked.
She pointed to the board, "We know that we still have four bus metas left to find", she said. Iris nodded, "And that DeVoe has absorbed the powers of Kilgore, Hazard, Black Bison, Brainstorm and Dwarfstar", she said. Caitlyn nodded, "Fallout is safe with Tracy", she added. I sighed, "But the Weeper is still MIA", I said. Barry shook his head, "DeVoe must have him", he guessed.
"That just leaves Ralph", Caitlyn said sadly. Barry shook his head, "Ralph is safe with us. But the other four metas aren't. DeVoe will absolutely kill them and take their powers", he said. Iris crossed her arms, "But why does he need their powers? I can't figure out his end game", she said. Barry looked at us, "I don't know, I just know that these four metas are the key. That's why we need to find them", he said.
"And find them we will", Ralph said as he and Cisco walked into the cortex. "Where have you guys been?", Barry asked confused. Ralph was carrying boxes, "A little home away from home, also known as the bus depot. But I showed Cisco here an old PI trick I learned from my mentor, Columbo. Lost and found box from meta bus 405", he told us. Cisco looked at us annoyed, "Question for the room, how did I get stuck doing the buddy system with Ralph?", he asked.
