Another day had passed, and I found myself keeping away from Illustrious ever since THAT happened.

"I'm really sorry about that..." Illustrious says sheepishly, still remembering yesterday's events.

"It... It's fine... Just don't let that happen again and I think we'll be fine." I reply, turning my attention to Chapayev, who's sitting next to me. "So, anything you wanna do? Besides sitting around?

"Well, there's nothing in your office and it's much too cold to even be outside." Chapayev replies. "What do you want to do?"

"Not sure honestly." I say as everyone lazes about. "Actually, since you reminded me about my office, I'm going to see what's in there, and see if there's anything I missed." And with that I take my leave and check up on my office. Much to my disappointment there's no documents to keep me busy and I end up returning to my spot on the couch in a matter of seconds.

"I have realized that there's very little to do here." Victorious says. "What do you guys do to pass time?"

"We have that little library there and if we have a lot of time and if the weather is right, we sometimes do snowball fights." I reply.

"Well, I guess I don't mind getting this dress covered in snow." Formidable says. "Why don't we go for one?"

"It's really cold outside though." Chapayev replies.

"Aw come on, don't tell me a light cruiser like you is afraid of the cold!" Gangut chuckles as everyone heads outside. We scatter ourselves around the block as it's every man and every shipgirl for themselves, and we load up on our snowballs. I'm the first to emerge from cover as I find myself on an empty street, but I know that the streets are a little too quiet as I keep on high alert. Suddenly Rossi peeks out from cover and lobs a snowball at me, just barely missing my face.

"I have you now!" I shout as I rush over to where Rossi is hiding, but alas she's not there, possibly having taken a little route away. Instead Tashkent happens to be hiding, waiting for someone else to emerge, so I simply walk over and plop my snowball on her head. "Gotcha."

"Man, why am I always the first one out?" Tashkent asks.

"You can't just wait like that. You gotta be more aware of your surroundings." I reply as Tashkent heads back inside the base. That's when I turn my head and spot Avrora hiding, and I chuck my snowball like a professional pitcher. Avrora turns way too late and my snowball hits it's target with a resounding WHAP!

"Aw man!" Avrora calls out. "I'm out!" She says as she heads back inside the base. Another snowball just misses my arm, and I make another snowball before throwing it in the opposite direction, and I score a hit.

"Oof!" Gangut shouts as she emerges from hiding, hands up, and she heads inside. I then take one of their hiding places, and now it's Illustrious' turn to emerge from hiding, intent on finding me.

"I know you were out here! Where are you?" Illustrious calls out.

"Right here!" I laugh as I throw another baseball style pitch, knocking Illustrious' hat off. The carrier then picks up her hat and raises her hands in defeat all the same as she heads back inside the base. I emerge from hiding once again, locked and loaded, and this time Chapayev and Rossi both emerge in an attempt to take me out of the fight. They both lob at the same time and I duck as the two snowballs collide in midair and turn into powder. "Now that's a once in a lifetime event!"

"Darn it!" Rossi grumbles as she throws another snowball, but as soon as I see where it's coming from I duck and throw, knocking Rossi's hat off, and she surrenders. Chapayev and I soon find ourselves standing off with one another, wild west style, and we stare each other down, daring the other to throw. Unfortunately we were too distracted, and a snowball hits Chapayev in the face while another one hits me down low and I crumple up in pain.

"Owowowowowow..." I whimper as I roll around in the snow.

"Oh my goodness did I do that?!" Victorious cries out as she rushes over to me. "I'm so sorry! I didn't  mean to do that! Are you okay?!"

"Oh this hurts so much!" I say through clenched teeth as Chapayev gets up and helps me get back on my feet. This was the perfect time for Formidable to launch an assault as no less than three snowballs hit Victorious all at once, and Formidable emerges victorious.

"That was such a dirty shot!" Victorious says. "I just wanted to see if he was okay!"

"Well you left yourself wide open so I took the opportunity while it lasted." Formidable chuckles. "Seriously though, are you okay?"

"I think so..." I reply. "Ugh that hurt a lot."

"What happened?" Gangut asks as she peeks out the door. "Did someone get hurt?"

"Victorious hit him in the family jewels." Chapayev replies, and Gangut cringes as she walks out to make sure that I'm okay.

"You alright there?" Gangut asks.

"I already said this a few times... I think so..." I reply as I'm led inside the base and I crash on the couch.

"Let me guess, groin shot?" Tashkent asks. "He seems to be on the receiving end of those quite often."

"Really?" Victorious asks back.

"Yeah, he's taken a lot." Gangut replies. "Hopefully you can still have kids after this."

"Gangut!" I shout, and Gangut starts laughing all over again.

"Does this kind of thing happen very often?" Illustrious and Victorious ask Rossi.

"All the time, all the time." Rossi replies. "There's not a day where Gangut isn't messing around with the komandir over something. Even little things she can take joy in at his expense, but they get along really well, so it's usually all in jest."

"At least that's what it seems like." Illustrious says as I start chasing Gangut around the common room.
