I woke up hours later sprawled out on my bed and surprisingly not soaked in sweat. I do have a pounding headache though...
"Ugh... My head..." I mumble as I remember what happened last night: how I managed to beat Empress at beer pong, drunkenly dancing with the sirens and my shipgirls, stumbling onto my bed and passing out on the spot... "Maybe I shouldn't have challenged Empress... She had me down to one cup..." Eventually I turn to my left and right to see a head of blue hair and a head of white hair. The owner of the blue hair was no doubt Chapayev, but the owner of the white hair was a little tough to decipher. Was it Empress, too drunk to realize where she was going? Was it one of the lesser sirens that was completely wasted on vodka? Or was it Rossi or Gangut? Eventually the owner of said white hair turned to face me, it was none other than Avrora. "Do you two remember anything that happened last night?"
"After you headed to your room the sirens took an early leave..." Avrora replies. "They said that they had a little too much vodka for the night and headed back home... Ugh I think we all had a little too much vodka last night... My head is hurting so much..."
"Oh yeah... Now I remember..." I mumble, remembering how Purifer got completely shitfaced and was hitting on random people in her drunken stupor. At the very least there were some lesser sirens that didn't drink as much and I could safely assume they were able to guide everyone back to their ship and head home safely. How Chapayev and Avrora ended up in my bed is a different story in itself. Their hats and some of their clothes were strewn off to the side along with my jacket, cap and various other articles of clothing save for my pants. Eventually the three of us got up, collected our clothing and trudged out into the common room where Rossi, Gangut and Tashkent were doing their best to relieve their own pounding headaches.
"Ugh... I thought I could handle my drink better than this..." Gangut mumbles, trying to cover her face with her cap.
"My eyes..." Tashkent whimpers, covering her face with her hands. "It's too bright..."
"Oh god..." Rossi says, looking a little green in the face and a bucket full of nasty smelling puke next to her. "I never thought that vodka could do this to me... Until no-hrk!" She cuts herself off as she vomits. "Ugh! Why did I drink so much?!"
"I think we all had too much for the night... I can't imagine the sirens faring any better than us..." I mumble as I crash on the only other available couch. As a result Chapayev and Avrora both end up falling on top of me, trapping me underneath them.
"You're so comfy..." Chapayev and Avrora mumble as they cuddle up with me, pressing themselves against me, and my face inadvertently ends up in their chests. I try to move my head away so I don't get seen as a pervert, but I can't move my head very far.
"You know... Any other guy would kill to be in your position right now... Ow..." Gangut chuckles before rubbing her head.
"What we all need to do is get a little more rest, and then try and get through with the rest of the day..." I mumble. "I think it'll only get better from here." An hour passes as we all try to recover, and eventually that hour brings us some relief as we all get up, but Chapayev and Avrora wrap their arms around mine. "Um... I think you can let go now..."
"After seeing you like that last night, I can't help but think about how cute you were." Chapayev chuckles.
"Was I really like that last night?" I ask.
"I think we can both confirm that." Avrora replies as Rossi dumps the bucket of puke out the window before taking it somewhere to get it sterilized. Eventually our headaches clear out and we return to normal, but as I continue to rest on the couch, Chapayev and Avrora keep looking at each other. It's almost like they're daring one another to make a move on me or something like that, and eventually Chapayev breaks the silence.
"Hey, komandir." Chapayev says.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Did I ever tell you that you look so handsome?" Chapayev asks back.
"Oh um... Th-hmph!" I don't get to finish as Chapayev proceeds to kiss me full on the lips before she pulls away. "Well, you're certainly being straightforward today." I say as I get up and head into my office.
"...Did I take it too far too soon?" I hear Chapayev ask Avrora as I relax in my chair.
"What happened to you?" Rossi asks. "You look like you've just escaped a minefield."
"Chapayev kissed me out of nowhere." I reply. "If Gangut were to hear any of this she would never let me live it down..."
"Well, I will admit you're not that bad looking yourself." Rossi says. "I don't know Chapayev that well but I can say for certain I don't think it's the vodka from last night still having it's effects on her... For all I know I think she's actually got a crush on you."
"Well she was very straightforward with that." I reply, and as if on cue Chapayev and Avrora emerge, the former looking apologetic.
"I'm really sorry about that, I don't know what came over me." Chapayev says.
"Eh, don't worry about it." I reply. "It's nothing to get too worked up over. Just as long as Gangut didn't see and as long as she doesn't find out..." The two light cruisers continue to stick around in my office, looking around for anything interesting, and eventually I begin to focus on the documents before me. Once again I get the oddball one that gets shredded up by Rossi's rigging but otherwise things are looking to be pretty normal, for now.
