Believe it or not, Cory did come to my cell that night but I wasn't having it at all and neither was Tuck. He put him to sleep quick and even beat him up a bit while he was sleeping.

"Stop before we get caught," I told Tuck who then discarded his lifeless body into the ocean.

"Hope he can swim," Tuck said.

"I hope he doesn't die!" I said tersely back at him.

As much as I greatly wished for his death, it'd be very easy for the Queen to have me hanged for it, so I had to play nice. In the morning, I was expecting some anger from Cory but there was no time for that as I was awoken to the entire palace shaking. Like an Earthquake, I felt the ground shift beneath me. What the heck was that? I wondered as the shaking started and then a loud soulless ear rattling scream. I looked into the window and saw it. It was a troll, a huge ass one eyed troll with green hair, blue pasty lips, shaking the palace tower. It brought a grin to my face instantly as I knew it was Lord Andrew's doing.

"God I love him," I said to myself really, "Tuck, we got to get the fuck –" I started.

"Already on it," Tuck said, grabbing me by the waist, we reappeared on the coast. From there I could see at least 4 trolls ransacking the town and people running and screaming for dear life as one was going to town on the palace, punching holes into the wall and stuff. I stood there amused, watching as the knights all ran outside to try and fight it, shoot it with arrows. No one was paying any attention to me so I took off down the coast. Was this finally freedom?

"Wait," Tuck said, "Andrew's calling me."

He blinked away then came back a second later.

"I know where to take you," Tuck said, grabbing my hand and we blinked away and reappeared at the foot of the woods where there was Lord Andrew, my brother Jacob, Samuel, Timothy and a bunch of other knights I knew. I was never happier to see all of them in my life. I didn't know who to run to first but it didn't matter, I just ran in the direction of them and we all collided in the middle, Me, Jacob, and Andrew. And then Samuel reaching over our group hug to pat me on the back.

"Thank God, get her on the horse and the fuck out of here as soon as possible," Jacob said.

"You're a fucking genius!" I told Andrew who was grinning ear to ear.

"It was too complex to start a war on these guys, so I came up with the plan, gathering up the trolls was the hardest and took the longest amount of time for that I'm sorry," Andrew said, as Samuel walked me over to help me onto my horse. We very quickly got on our horses and started to ride away.

Once we'd gotten far enough away that there was no way they could catch up to us, we slowed down to a trot. And Andrew rode besides me.

"Sorry...about yesterday," he said carefully.

"It's okay," I shrugged.

"No, it's not. I should've been there for you. I just couldn't at that moment. So, I'm sorry," he said.

"Water under the bridge," I said.

"This isn't over you know, getting you out of here is only the beginning. They're gonna try to start a war over this probably. They may come after you again. But...I swear to you...I won't ever let them touch you again," he said. I nodded.

"Thank you...for saving me," I said.

"Of course, my love, any time and over and over again for eternity, I would always come rescue you," he said.

Back home was at least a 2-day ride, only one if you rode straight without stopping much which we did. It was morning when we got back home and I could hug my father, little brother, pet snow leopard and be back in my bed again safe and warm for no one to harm me. A thing I took for granted. The ability to eat food, knowing it wasn't poisoned. The ability to sleep, knowing someone wouldn't touch me inappropriately. But this was not even the end, it was only the beginning of more months of torture.

Because sometimes people don't know how to let go, of what didn't even belong to them in the first place if they felt entitled to it.
