Gustavo

Tris POV

I wake up and there is no noise , Tobias must be still asleep. I silently walk to the kitchen, Tobias has provided me with so much , now I can slightly repay him by making breakfast. My eyes wonder inside the cupboard. I see a little folded bit of paper. I will ask Tobias about it when he wakes up. With that thought I hear footsteps coming towards me.
"Morning" Tobias says.
"Morning" I respond.
"What's this?" I ask whilst grabbing the piece of paper from the cupboard.
"I didn't know that was in there" Tobias says whilst his eyebrows furrow and a confused face appears.
"The last time that cupboard was opened was by Gustavo" He continues whilst his eyes widen and his face seems more alert.
Maybe the paper was something he left by accident , he did accidentally leave his glasses too - he gives the impression he his very forgetful.
My fingers scramble at the paper, I try to unfold the paper without trying to rip it.
It reads:
"Remember to postcode for house,
4F46 4TB."
Without consulting , Tobias nods his head and so do I then we walk out the door and into his car.

We arrive at the postcode, it did lead to a house. Tobias holds my hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze as I ring the bell, there is no response.

No one is home.

"Can you Knock the door down?" I ask.
"I'll try" Tobias answers.
He looks behind us making sure no one is watching, thankfully it's a quiet area.
He walks away from the door then runs towards it with his side. Then I hear a click, the door is open.

We both step inside the house, it smells like metal and medicine, the floor is concrete , the walls are white and I see a futuristic Erudite glass table. A white blue glass door is I front of me , I carefully come forward to open it .

It's an erudite lab.
The room has rows and rows of blue glass tables with technological equipment , the smell is like lemons - sour.
It's even been cleaned , Gustavo must have been in here.

I look at Tobias and he seems so shocked.
"Let's search" I say.
My fingers run across the equipment on the tables until I see a needle , like the one you have when you want to go in a fear landscape. Although this one has a white sticker on it and with blue writing it says,
"Life long serum"
My jaw drops and my heart starts to thud getting faster and faster my the second, sweat trickles down my forehead and I start to panic.
"Symptoms of having this injection, slight cause of forgetfulness"
I look over at Tobias who is running towards me with a paper in his hand, he looks like he is panicking too.
"I found his birth certificate, it's from 250 years ago." Tobias says out of breath.
"I found this serum, used as an injection called... Life long serum" I exclaim.
That explains it, we have found the answer. That explains why Gustavo is so forgetful - we can use this to our advantage. My mind flashes , the other note says something along the lines of "you have destroyed my life long work of factions" this means he literally meant the 250 years of his life working on factions. If we leave Gustavo he would start the factions again, he has got an endless amount of years left in his life .

Me and Tobias are the first ones to find out.

I explain this to Tobias and we take our two pieces of evidence home to show Christina and Will.
