Lost Was An Understatement

Part 1

Friday 6pm

"Crazy" Yana rolled her eyes, when Jamie told her she used to be really good at school.

"What?!?" Jamie yelled at Yana. Yana put on her mask and left out the door. She was now in her 3rd year of college, and Jamie was planning to go back to their hometown on sunday since he missed his mom and friends there which meant she had to come with him. Not to mention, she literally doesn't know anyone there except for her aunt and Yungso... She doesn't know her memories from her whole life... and she knows people haven't told her everything, but she's grown okay with it.

Friday 6:30pm

Yana pushed him out of the way with a smirk. "That's enough, I didn't come here to get laid." He raised an eyebrow. "So what did you meet me for?" Yana then put on a serious face, dropping her cool act. He noticed and stopped whatever he was doing, also becoming serious. "I'm moving back."o-oh" Yana scrunched her eyebrows and was engulfed in a hug. "You'll be alright without me right?" Yana smiled. They had a badass relationship but they truly cared and loved each other. "I'll be fine. I'll call you everyday." He nodded. "Should I go now?" Yana said. "If you want.." "Ok, love u."

Sunday 10am

"Let go of my cousin already! We're going!" Jamie yelled at him. "Says you, what if your girlfriend was leaving to another city!?" Jamie rolled his eyes and looked at Yana. "I'll give you and Johan 5 minutes." Yana nodded and Jamie walked to the car.

Jamie hit his head on the wheel. He was scared of what might happen if Yana remembers everything. Suddenly he got a text.

Yungso

"Terrance isn't listening."

At one text, he was now terrified, especially since the Yana everyone knew was no longer the same. Of course she was still Yana, but she forgot everything, so she had a new life and grew up again in another environment which caused the new attitude. Not to mention the huge glow up she got after just a year.

"Auntie!!" Her aunt hugged her and then Jamie. "I missed you guys company so much! How have you been?" Jamie answered, still overwhelmed by how nice his mom was being after all these years. "We've been...uh... good." His mom then squished Yana's cheeks. "You've been eating right? Jamie hasn't been making Ramen all year long has he?!" Yaan laughed a little. "No, more like I've been doing that.." Her aunt nodded and told them to rest and go into their rooms, her aunt turned the guest bedroom upstairs into Yana's bedroom.

While Yana was out with Yungso, Jamie decided to have a talk with his mom. "Mom we need to talk.." His mom looked at him and sighed. "my love... It might be better this way.." She immediately knew what he was talking about, but Jamie said back "But has it ever occurred to you, that if one day she remembers everything and the way you treated her she'll hate you and this time for real because she's not the same anymore.. You saw how Yana was dressed. She skips classes, doesn't do her homework or eat properly! She isn't as forgiving anymore! She can actually hate people now mom!" His mom yelled at him "You couldn't have done anything to stop her from becoming like that!?" Jamie sighed. "No and I'm sorry." Then he walked upstairs and slammed the door to his room.
