Lost Was An Understatement

"So... have you figured out what your going to do when we get home?"

Yana nodded almost instantly, and Jamie asked "I just hope you'll understand my mom like you always did.." Yana chuckled.

"Please don't worry. I forgive her. I understand why she did it. Honestly to think she showed me how much she cared in that year was crazy!" Jamie nodded.

"I feel bad, I didn't stop her." He said, scratching his neck and Yana slapped his arm lightly. "There's nothing to worry about ok?"

"Auntie I'm home!!"

Yana said, putting a hand through her short hair and her aunt came out of the top floor with a bright smile.

"I didn't think you'd come!" She said and Yana slung her arms around her aunt. "Of course I'd come home. Your here!" Yana cringed saying that and then said "Forget I said that. I'm going up to my room. Oh what's for lunch?"

Yana said, stopping at the staircase and her aunt smiled at her. "Your favorite." Yana smiled back with two thumbs up.

"Doesn't she seem more cheerful than usual?"

Jamie shrugged.

"She said she's like two people in one." Jamie carried the two bags to the laundry room, closing the door behind him.

"You seem happy? Something happen?" Her aunt asked and Yana nodded, but her smile faltered like it was being forced to stay on her face.

"Me and Terrance are together."

Jamie asked a question. "Are you sure your okay?" Yana nodded reassuringly.

"Of course, I'm just worried about Johan. He spent so much time helping me out and I cut ties with him.."

Her aunt then said "Oh.. well everything will fix itself in time." "Hopefully..." Yana said with a small sigh. "Anyways, you shouldn't worry either Auntie. Honestly, I don't think I can live hating you forever and especially without you." She smiled at her aunt and her aunt nodded.

"Thank you for understanding." Her auntie tapped Yana's cheek in a caring way and said "I raised you both well didn't I?" Yana smiled. "Of course you did, even your hatred towards me taught me to be strong and brave!"

Her aunt was touched and went in for a hug. She patted her head and said "My sweet niece. You must've felt so lost.."

Yana nodded and said quietly "To say.. I think lost is an understatement."

"Kang Yana! Over here!"

Yana turned to the voice and smiled happily. "Terrance!" Terrance walked over to her and tried to help her make coffee.

"Why are you making coffee?"

"I wanna help out when the cafe reopens.."

"You don't need to be good at making coffee, why don't we just go out to eat? I'll help you clean up and we can go." Yana nodded. "Ok.."

"You got bubbles in my eyes!"

"Sorry it splashed!" Yana exclaimed and went closer to him, blowing on his eye. Terrance smiled at looking at her up close and Yana laughed.

"Why are you so smiley?"

Terrance shrugged, and flicked her head. "Keep cleaning so we can leave.." Yana pouted, rubbing her head and then remembered something.

"Ah! Doesn't this remind you of something?" She said and he nodded.

"Are we thinking of the same thing?"

"If you didn't provoke me in class this wouldn't have happened!" Yana said and Terrance chuckled.

"Well you look cute in that apron." Yana punched him lightly.

"Let's finish these dishes." Terrance agreed with her when Yana splashed the sink water full of bubbles.

"Agh! My eyes!" Yana turned to him and blew in his eyes.

"I'm sorry!" Terrance smiled at her and stood up, making him taller as he kissed her.

"DON'T DO PDA IN MY KITCHEN!"

Terrance and Yana stopped and smiled at each other. Yana yelled "Sorry miss!"

"You were feisty then."

Yana laughed, kissing his cheek.

"I still am."
