Lost Was An Understatement

Part 17

Saturday 4PM

Yana pushed him after a second. Her face turning red. "Shit. These memories got me doing stupid things.." She crouched down and covered her face from him.

"Hey." He said, although he was shocked. Yana couldn't face him after what she did, and her heart wouldn't stop beating so fast.

He sighed, couching down and holding onto her shoulders. "Yana, look at me...." He said softly. Yana didn't answer, refusing to look at him. Terrance stood up. "Yana. It's ok!" He yelled.

Flashback:

"YANA LOOK AT ME!"

Terrance grabbed her shoulders and shook her.

"Everything will be okay... I promise.." He whispered to her softly.

Shakily, she locked her eyes with his and her mouth shook as she said "I-I don't know what to do..."

Terrance smiled at her. "I'll help you if you'd let me..." Yana breathed out. "Why do I keep running back to you.."

Terrance's smile dropped as she continued. "Why when there's Yungso and Jamie and Marco! Why do you make life so hard?! What have I done to you?! And why does my family hate me?! I'm not a slave! I killed the only person who loved me! I-I just kept losing. And you! Why did you have to co-"

Terrance cut her off, he yelled "Yana. It's ok!"

Yana wiped her tears. "Are you though...?"

Yana hesitated to get up. She refused to look him in the eye as she pursed her lips in thought. "I need some time to think." She said quickly and left him there.

Saturday 5pm

"Jamie! Jamie!"

Yana yelled a couple times, she clenched her heart just as she closed the front door. She collapsed onto the floor.

"YANA!"

Saturday 7pm

"What the hell happened to you?! Once I got down the stairs you already collapsed!"

Jamie yelled at Yana, who was now cuddled up in her bed clinging onto Jamie because she was scared of what just happened to her.

"I don't know what the hell was running through my mind. I fricking kissed him!"

Jamie widened his eyes in shock.

"You kissed who?!"

Yana's heart began to beat rapidly again.

"I kissed Terrance! Why did I do that?"

She hid her face in his chest and he chuckled a bit.

"You like him."

Yana glared up at him.

"No I don't!"

"Yes, you do."

"No I don't!"

"Yes, you do! There would be no other reason you did it. "

Yana kicked Jamie off the bed, and yelled "Get out of my room!" Jamie furrowed her eyes at her sudden mood swing and left her room with a sigh.

Sunday 1pm

"Auntie! I'm going out!"

Ms.Kang peeked her head through the kitchen door, and grinned at Yana.

"Sure. Just don't come home late!"

Yana nodded and left out the door.

Sunday 2PM

"Johan! Let him go!"

Yana glared at him, a hand tightly wrapped around Johan's wrist. Johan gave her a pained look, clutching onto Terrance's shirt tighter.

"You already replaced me?" He asked.

Yana sighed. "Johan. I told you! you can't do anything. It's best to leave me alone." Her eyes sparkled gleams of sadness, looking at him.

Terrance looked at the two and felt a rush of jealousy go through his body. He pushed the guy off of him and grabbed Yana to bring her closer to him. He glared scarily at Johan infront of him, Johan returning an equally as scary look.

"Who are you anyways?!" Johan exclaimed and Terrance chuckled, a smirk forming on his face.

Johan watched as Terrance pulled Yana closer to him and kissed her lips right infront of him. Johan's look on his face failed to stay strong as he looked at Yana who was staring at him in confusion, as he was looking at her in utter disbelief.

"Fine, but don't you dare come crawling back to me." He pointed at her, while speaking and then put on his helmet. Johan sped off from the two on his motorcycle.

After Yana made sure Johan was gone, she pushed away Terrance and glared at him. "What was that?!" She screamed and Terrance grinned.

"I was just claiming what's mine."

Yana internally smacked herself and screamed "I'm not yours! And I'll never be!"

Terrance then sighed and looked at her helplessly. Yana got a rush of headaches and held her head.

"Yana?! Are you okay?"

Flashback

"Don't look at me like that!" Yana bitterly laughed as she ran down the building staircase.

Terrance chased after her and finally caught reach of her hand, he grabbed it before she could go run off again.

"Yana. Please..." He pleaded. Yana turned around with tears starting to form in her eyes. Terrance was taken aback from her tears and took a step back, as she stood there.

"What? Are you going to tell me that it was a mistake?" She continued to talk bitterly. "Or are you going to say you didn't mean to and that you love me?"

Yana's tears began to fall. "I love you too, but I can't handle this anymore. Either leave me alone or learn to stick with me!" She screamed, Terrance hopelessly said "But, I didn't. I promised you didn't I? I'll stick with you!" He then stared at her helplessly, the grip on her hand getting weaker.

Yana looked at their hands and then into his eyes. She shook her head in disappointment. "Don't look at me so helplessly! I won't help you!"

Terrance forced her into his arms, her school bag falling off her back onto the floor from the impact. He pleaded with her. "You don't have to help me. Just stay with me please. I won't do it again." Yana sighed.

She gulped and wrapped her arms around him. Her head laid onto his shoulder. "Fine....I trust you..." Yana sadly smiled, she didn't know what number she was on anymore. How many times she had forgiven him....

Terrance shook Yana's shoulders and Yana threw her head up. "Don't look at me like that again and don't show up all of a sudden either." She said, annoyed. Yana walked away from him, trying to contain the emotions from her past that were trying to resurface themselves.
