Wednesday 5:30pm

"Terrance!"

"Oh Yana, did you just come in?"

Yana nodded and sat in the beanbag chair next to him. She said "I never see you at the cafe.. What brings you here?" Terrance sipped his macchiato and says "Your aunt isn't working today. Jamie is, and your aunt kinda hates me." Yana understands and takes out some books out of her bag to study, much to Jamie's surprise.

After serving some people, Jamie went to where the two were seated.

"Yana your studying!?!" He said in shock and Terrance furrowed his eyes at him. "But you never study!" Yana rolled her eyes. "I need to boost my grades.." Jamie's mouth went agape and Yana clicked her tongue. "You could fill an apple in there. Close your mouth." Jamie sulked as he served them a drink. Yana widened her eyes.

"Aren't we supposed to pay for these?!"

Jamie rolled his eyes, which Terrance noticed as something the two had in common. Anyways, Jamie answered "Why would we pay when we own the cafe?" Yana shrugged.

"I just thought that's how it worked." Jamie shakes his head. "You used to make free drinks for yourself all the time!" Yana nodded and a halfhearted smile, the comment somehow made her feel bad. Terrance noticed and flicked her with a pencil. "Snap out of it. You don't need to know how to make drinks anyways." "Yeah.." She answered and Jamie narrowed his eyes at Terrance. Terrance glared back, no matter what they do, Terrance won't leave Yana's side.

Yana pushed Jamie away. "Go work! Your bothering me!" Jamie widened his mouth, pretending to be offended and walked away.

Wednesday 7pm

The two continued to study, Terrance stealing glances at her every so often. Yana caught on but didn't mind it. Terrance closed his book noticing it was getting dark and asked "Do you wanna go home now? It's getting dark.." Yana pursed her lips, looking at Jamie still working and shrugged. "Jamie might want to go with me though.. " Terrance nodded and stood up, but then Yana followed what he was doing. She said "On second thought I never really cared about what Jamie thinks anyway" She laughed a little at how she was about to stay with Jamie and grabbed Terrance hand to go out.

"Where are we going?" Terrance asked and Yana shrugged. "I just pulled you out. I'm gonna go home." She let go of his hand. Terrance then said "What about we go somewhere first?" Yana raised a brow. "Where?" "The park near your house." Yana nodded and followed after him.

They sat on the swings and Yana surprisingly felt a sense of comfort here. She laid her head on the chain of the swing and waited for Terrance to talk since she had nothing to say.

"So we never finished that conversation the last time we met.." Yana nodded. "Do you really wanna know?" Terrance said "Yeah" and she continued "Well... my boyfriend cheated on me. I broke up with him right away but a few days ago he came to the dance studio and pleaded for me to let him explain. His explanation was so stupid though! How could he not know a girl he was kissing!?" She sighed and Terrance gulped. He used that excuse so many times, he didn't know what to say.

Yana sighed. "Even in this new me... I get cheated on. Pathetic isn't it?" Terrance shook his head, disagreeing. "How so? All you did was trust a guy, he just didn't know the worth you had to cheat on you." Yana smiled at him.

"Thank you for that. But, wouldn't that apply to you to?" Terrance sighed. "Yeah, it took alot to say that, but it's the truth. I didn't know the worth you had back then either." He looked at her with saddened eyes and she was just silently shocked at what he said.

"I couldn't get rid of that stupid playboy habit. It ruined what I could've had with you.." He looked to the ground, kicking the sand. She tried to reassure him. "I forgive you... it was in the past and it wouldn't have worked out anyways..." He then took her off guard and held her hands gently. "What are you doing!?" She yelled and he remembered the change in attitude she had now. He sighed. "I forget you aren't the Yana I knew anymore, but I realized your worth when you left me this way. Possibly, is there a chance we'd be together again?"
