Lost Was An Understatement

Part 6

Thursday 5:30pm

Terrance was walking to the cafe. Jamie wanted to talk to him. He opened the door and saw Jamie working. Jamie saw him, and served one last customer before finishing his turn to watch over the cafe, his mom replacing him.

"Follow me."

Jamie said, as he walked out the door. Terrance followed after him, receiving a chilly glare from Ms.Kang.
They ended up talking by the convenience store, not too far from the cafe. "What do you want to tell me?" Terrance kept a straight face. Jamie then answered stern "Stay away from Yana.." Terrance gave him a small smile, one to make him aggravated. "I'm not going to stay away from Yana, it's not fair that I can't be a part of her life anymore and you let Marco, Ellie, and Yungso in!" Jamie put a hand on the youngers shoulder. "Terrance.." He tried to find the words to say, but Terrance smacked his hand off of him, and said "I was someone special to her! She has to remember! It's not fair for her, she doesn't remember her whole damn life!" Jamie sighed and yelled back. "So what do you want me to do?! Let her remember everything so that she'll be depressed again! Bring her back to the day I told her you cheated on her! So she can be hurt and get hit by a bus again! That's my cousin! I can't do that to her!" Terrance stood there, confused about what he was talking about. "What do you mean? I never cheated on her?" Jamie was visibly angry. "Don't lie. I saw you kiss that girl named Rain in the liberal arts major!" Terrance put a hand on his head and his waist. "She kissed me first, I pushed her away... I was going to tell Yana. I wasn't going to hide it from her! Why would I cheat on her after everything!?"

Thursday 5:35pm

Yana walked to the convenience store in her pajamas because she finished all the strawberry milk at home. Stopping by the convenience store she saw Terrance, and Jamie. She began to approach them but stepped back and hid because it seemed like they were arguing. She heard a few things because they were loud but not everything.

"Let her remember everything so that she'll be depressed again!"

"I never cheated on her!"

"Kiss.....Liberal arts major!"

Yana widened her eyes, now interested in the conversation. It wasn't like her to eavesdrop but she was curious, but then she heard her name.

"I was going to tell Yana. I wasn't going to hide it from her! Why would I cheat on her after everything!?"

Yana furrowed her eyebrows, and she suddenly felt lightheaded, she yelled out Jamie's name. She held her head.

Jamie and Terrance turned around after hearing Jamie's name being called and saw Yana clenching her hair, a hand on the brick wall to keep her balance. On instinct the two ran to her. Jamie held her while Terrance went to buy water on Jamie's demand. "Yana?! Are you ok? What's wrong?" Yana then blacked out and fell limp onto Jamie's shoulder. Terrance ran back to them with medicine and water. "YANA!" Terrance yelled. Jamie carried her. "I'll bring her home, come with me. My mom won't be home till 8." Terrance nodded.
