As a child, I never understood what it meant being a Superhero. Whether it was having superpowers or saving humans, nothing ever made sense. My dad, AKA Wolverine, got married to Jean Grey. Not surprisingly, they divorced after a while and I never really knew who my mom was. The only things I have left of her are the pictures of dad and mom's marriage. My dad never mentions her anymore. Everyone bullies me for how I don't have a mother anymore and I usually go home with tons of bruises and scars all over me.

There was this one time, Batman and Catwoman's son and daughter came with their friends and used a knife to slice my face. I was kicked and they mocked me, even saying that my mother had made the right decision. This left a permanent scar across my left eye and up till this day, I have never been on good terms with the kids of the DC superheroes. They just never treated me well.

My only good friends were the sons and daughters of those with Marvel family backgrounds. There's this one girl whom I am closest to. Her name is Lyta, AKA Fury. I'm not too sure how her parents managed to get together but they did. Her parents are the Iconic Captain America and Wonder Woman. Kind of unexpected but still really predictable.

Recently, I was enrolled into a new high school, where ALL superhero children are accepted. Naturally, my father got the enrollment letter without even asking for one and he signed me up. I did not know this until the day he came to me and said, "Hey, sweetie. Tomorrow you will be going to this high school and you can show your deepest flaws. That means telekinesis, regeneration, super speed and whatnot are allowed. Look, I know that you don't like the DC kids but you gotta learn to mix around okay? Don't worry, Lyta will be there. And maybe you will finally find the boyfriend that is your 'ideal type' eh?"

"DAD! STOP!" We burst into laughter and not long after, I was dozing off.
