Metal hitting metal. Blade hitting blade. The battle between Y/n and Akame was fairly even. If anyone had an advantage at the moment it was Y/n. Between his skills going up the longer he uses Kanshou and Bakuya and he having already fought with Akame before and memorized her battle patterns.
Y/n: "Can you keep up? You're getting slower on me Akame. Don't tell me you are getting tired"
She swung her sword harder.
Akame: "I can do this all day"
We keep clashing our swords. After a few swings she backs up.
Akame: "I don't get it. Your sword has broken many times now"
Ruby: "What did she say?"
Akame uses her sword as a crutch. panting for air, she looks at me confused.
Akame: "I've heard it.. I've heard the swords break many times but each time they are fine... Why?"
Y/n: "You must be forgetting what my power is"
I trace my bow and put my hand out as Caladbolg appears.
Y/n: "I am capable of creating an infinite number of swords"
Akame: "But-"
Y/n: "I can trace a sword in a millisecond. The moment I realize my sword is about to break, I reinforce it once more before instantly recreating it once it does shatter"
I put Caladbolg into the string and pull it back.

Y/n: "I'll be ending this fight now and taking my friend to safety"
Akame: "Do you truly believe you can protect her from the coming bounties, the military, the people at Beacon who know of her crimes"
Y/n: "Just let them try. All of them. Those bounties, I'll slay every one of them that dares put a finger on her. The military? Hahaha!!! A little Noble Phantasm, maybe Phobeus Catastrophe should be enough to put them down. The people of Beacon? If they know what's good for them they won't do a thing"
Akame: "Y/n.."
Y/n: "Calad.."
Jaune: "Y/n don't do it!!!"
Phyrra tried using her semblance but could get it to work.

I release it as it fires towards Akame, breaking the sound barrier. Ruby tired reaching Akame but the blast lands, sending her flying back as the rest of the group shield themselves from the blast.
