Chapter 12: Dragons.. Seriously?!

Acnologia and I were making our way through the dungeon, looking for what Acnologia describes as being a possible dragon nest.

Y/n: "I'm guessing by the way you're describing them, they are seriously powerful"

Acnologia: "A single dragon can wipe out an entire city"

Y/n: "Well we can't let them escape from here if they are hostile"

He looks at my sword before looking forward again.

Acnologia: "What if there's multiple, you're a one shot asteroid, after that you're nothing but useless lumber"

Y/n: "Are there multiple?!"

Acnologia: "They don't often flock as a group unless there's a clear leader, an alpha, that takes dragons along with him to make packs"

Y/n: "How many are we talking?"

Acnologia: "Around 30"

My stomach drops after hearing that.

Acnologia: "I got a feeling this one's alone"

Y/n: "Well that's good to know"

I put away Excalibur as Acnologia looks at me confused.

Acnologia: "What are you doing?"

Y/n: "Exchanging my weapon"

I pull out my bow and create caladbolg.

Acnologia: "You're going to shoot swords at a dragon"

Y/n: "Yes"

Acnologia: "It will just ricochet of its skin"

Y/n: "Not this one"

I ready the sword into the string and pull it back, making the sword long and skinny.

Acnologia: "Well I hope that little sword of yours is able to actually penetrate it"

Y/n: "It packs a punch, want me to try it on you?"

We hear a loud roar up ahead and readied ourselves to fight for our lives.

Acnologia: "It's definitely a dragon, let's keep going"

Y/n: "I got your back"

We make our way to an opening up ahead. We stand next to the wall and peek in to see what I hoped I didn't see.

Y/n: "2 of em huh?"

Acnologia: "Male and Female?"

Y/n: "This could be a big problem in the future"

Acnologia: "We need to take them out now"

They both turn our way and roar.

Y/n: "Looks like we aren't very welcomed"

Acnologia: "They know we're here, time to introduce ourselves"
