News of Cheryl's confession travelled around Riverdale High quickly, Charlotte was in English class when students came in talking about it. By the end of class, everyone was buzzing with anticipation to know what exactly Cheryl had done on July Fourth.

Cheryl being taken from Bio class was all the school could talk about and Archie's better judgment had finally kicked in as that morning he came in and told Principal Weatherbee and Sheriff Keller about the gunshot.

"So, are you a suspect now?" Veronica asked Archie, They all had a free period so they decided to join in with the rest of the school and talk about Jason.

"My dad says we all are, including me," Kevin said, taking a bite from his red vine.

"Guys, should we maybe re-binge, making a murderer on Netflix tonight?" Kevin asks

"Sorry. Can't. Gotta stay late to work on the paper. Speaking of, I'd really love your help with it, Charlotte ." Betty said hopefully.

Me? She asked with her eyebrows rose in surprise

"You are sweet you can get people to talk and you like to write"

I'm sorry Kevin, count me out also." Charlotte smiled

"Count me out too. I've got a date." Veronica said slowly

"You do?" Archie asks.

"Which Riverdale hottie made the cut?" Kevin asked and Veronica's grins devilishly

"Hey, Vee-Lo." They all turn and see Chuck standing by the door. "I'll swing by the Pembrooke to pick you up at eight?

"I'll be waiting."

"Cool."Chuck walked away but not before winking at Charlotte she wrinkled her nose in disgust

"Chuck Clayton?" Betty say at the same time.

"You're going on a date with Chuck?" Kevin gasps.

"He's kind of a player," Betty tells her.

"Who care's ? He's the hottest of hot, and he's the varsity football coach's son. In Riverdale, that's like dating a Kennedy." Kevin gushes and Veronica who just grins at her achievement.

"If print journalism is dead, what am I doing here?" Jughead asked after Charlotte dragged him with me into the Blue and Gold.

"The Blue and Gold isn't dead Juggie, it's just dormant." She say dragging him over to where Betty stood.

"But, waking up." Betty smiles walking over to the set of computers on the table. "You're writing a novel, right? About Jason Blossom's murder."

"I am," Jughead tells her, taking out a magnifying glass and holding it up. "Riverdale's very own In Cold Blood."

"Which started out as a series of articles. I'm hoping you'd join Charlotte and come write for the Blue and Gold."

"I just don't think the school paper's the right fit for my voice," Jughead admits.

"Juggie, please Charlotte gave him her sweetest look and Jughead couldn't say no to her he would do anything for her.

"Will I get complete freedom?" Jughead ask?

"I'll help, and edit and suggest. But it's your story, it's your voice.
Betty tells him

"I'm in." He said,  Charlotte hugs him and kisses his cheek she pulled away with a blush Jughead chuckled softly

"Okay. Great, in that case, I have both of your first assignments. There's one person who was at the river on July Fourth that no one's talking about." Betty tells them

"Dilton Doiley and his scouts." Jughead answers.

"Exactly." Betty smiles and Jughead brushes his nose, smirking at us before he leaves.
