Chapter Thirty• S I X  M O N T H S  L A T E R
Epilogue Part One
Ariannas Pov

"I can not believe i'm here." Cierra marveled with pure admiration. I chuckled softly as we both got out of my car.

We were back in our hometown in the middle of our second semester of college. This time it wasn't for Thanksgiving break, or Christmas break, but to celebrate love.

The love of my mother and father.

Their little flame was reignited after that Thanksgiving break and she forgave him. I didn't judge her or blame her anymore. She made her choice and she chose love. It's what anyone of us would've chosen. My father and I had a long talk about his actions and as much as I didn't want my mom to get hurt again, I also had love for my father.

Their wedding was going to be held at their new home at The Springs. Twenty minutes or so away from our old house. It was absolutely beautiful. It was a gated community filled with tons of huge houses. Their house was one of the ones towards the back, which more than likely was one of the most expensive. My father had said that he wanted to mom to have whatever she wanted, but i'm more than certain this was his idea.

From either side of the house was stairs that could lead you to the front door, in the middle between the stairwell was a little fountain that in my mind was beyond extra. The house was two stories high but spread wide.  It was painted in white brick and tall tree's decorated the sides of it.

"I can't believe you live here." Cierra stated in pure awe once more. Chuckling, I grabbed my bag out of the trunk and handed Cierra hers.

"To be fair, I don't live here. My parents do." I closed the lid to the trunk and walked up the stairs to the door. I opened it and right away felt "fancy rich white person" vibes.

It was a huge entry way, stairs on either side that led to the upstairs. Directly in front you could see our new living room which had two large couches and a huge flat screen. and behind that were floor to ceiling windows with an immaculate backyard. It was beyond gorgeous

"Arianna? Is that you?" A voice had echoed, I looked and saw my mother walking towards the middle area between the stairwell. I wasn't rich I had no clue what these things were called.

"Hi mom." I greeted holding my bag awkwardly in my hand. Cierra waved as well and I couldn't imagine the things running around in her head.

"Well get up here and hug me!" I laughed slightly and walked up the stairs to her. Cierra followed shortly behind as I embraced my mom.

"Isn't it beautiful?" She sighed pulling away to  look back at her home. The look in her eyes said it all. She wanted this for herself, she wanted him.

"Yeah. It's pretty crazy." I nodded looking around the house once more. Tommy must love to show this off to his friends.

"Congrats Miss. Miller!" Cierra smiled, coming between to two of us to hug my mom as well.  My mom pulled away and looked between the two of us.

"Well we should get ready! The hairdresser is already in my makeup room and the makeup guru should be here soon!" She led us down the hall, past her bedroom and into her 'makeup room.' It was a huge vanity with a walk in closet and her own little bathroom.

I don't think I would ever want this for myself. this would be too much. I'd be fine with the love of my life and our own little cottage. Some girls have different dreams and I always wanted my mom to have hers.

--

Three hours later and my hair and makeup were finally done. I hated sitting still for too long, and it was pure torture. During that time my nana had shown up, along with my aunt, my two cousins and my moms best friend. They all were in the wedding party.  The wedding started in two more hours and the outside area was completely beautiful.

Cherry blossom trees hung down over the place where they would say "I do." The seats were all decked up and ready, there was a food station placed on the other side of the yard towards a little lake, where the reception would be held. Poppies were dropped all down the aisle my mom would soon be walking down and a piano was set up directly across from where they would exchange their vows.

"You look great."

I turned my head as Cierra smiled walking closer to me. I shook my head and chuckled. "I'm thinking about wearing this style every day." My hair was split into a braid that went across like a crown, than the bottom was curled and stiffed with hairspray. My makeup was a light pink and gold eye shadow, with a thin application of eyeliner. I had false lashes on and my lips were just glossy.

"Some guests are here already, they're all sitting in your living room, or waiting room or whatever for this wedding." I chuckled and nodded, it would be happening soon enough. My mom and dad would be getting remarried.

"I should probably get dressed. They're gonna wanna take tons of pictures." I groaned, I hated getting countless pictures taken. Cierra laughed from beside me as we walked into one of the guest rooms and got dressed.

My dress went with my eye shadow. It was a beautiful light pink color that brought out my skin tone. It was sculpted to my skin perfectly and I could breathe without looking fat. The only part that wasn't sculpted was the bottom, it was flared just a little.

"You look stunning best friend!" Cierra squealed when she saw me. She wrapped me in her arms making me laugh. Cierra wasn't in the wedding but still looked amazing. She was wearing a light blue dress that was long in the back and shorter in the front. She had even gotten a tan to make herself look better, even though she had already looked astounding.

"Alex is going to die when he sees you." I winked, she rolled her eyes and applied some last minute makeup.

"Shut upp." Alex and Cierra had became official five months ago. Apparently they were flirting and doing things before hand (which I assumed) and made it official only if they felt I wouldn't be hurt. Which I didn't understand cause I've told them from the start to date.

But they were beyond happy together and I've never seen either of them in better shape. I was so lucky to have them and they were lucky to have each other.

Interrupting my thoughts was a slight knock at the door, I opened it and my nana stood, admiration in her face.

"Oh my god, don't you both look absolutely gorgeous." Her jaw had dropped as she took the both of us in. I smiled and kissed her cheek and Cierra placed her hand over her heart.

"It's time for pictures girls."
