"Okay. Goodnight Izuku."
"Goodnight Ei."
Eijiro looked at the face in the screen. The boy had a small face dotted with freckles. His dark, green hair dangled over his emerald eyes. Eijiro loved those eyes. Or at least he did.
"I love you," the redhead called. Before the call ended, his green haired boyfriend mumbled a quick 'I love you too' back before turning off the phone, silencing the device.
Eijiro sighed and laid his head on his pillow. He didn't feel like doing anything, most everything was pointless anyway. His room was dark, all of the lights were off. The only source of light came from full moon hanging high under the clouds.
Eijiro found himself staring at the moon now, listing closely for the whispers of night. He was always calmed down by nature and the calmness of the world. He had been looking towards the moon a lot more recently lately.
The long-distance-relationship between him and Izuku had been going on for half a year. It worked at first, but now it seemed too much like a hassle. Eijiro didn't know why, but he just didn't have feelings for Izuku anymore. His love just, drifted away. Eijiro ignored it at first, he didn't want to believe that he was really falling out of love, but then Izuku's smile wasn't joyful anymore, his freckles weren't truthful, his demeanor was all wrong. Izuku was lying.
Eijiro could tell, but he wasn't sure how. Whatever it was that Izuku was lying about, Eijiro didn't care anymore. It didn't matter if they got married or broke up the next day. It was all fake, and Eijiro didn't know why. He became numb, an empty shell of himself. At first, he didn't want to admit anything was wrong. He was normal; he was happy. But it was all fake. It didn't take long for him to just stop pretending.
He started skipping events, ignoring his friends, even missed band practices. That one was the weird one. Eijiro had always loved band. He got to hang out with his friends, socialize, and sing his heart out. It gave Eijiro so much happiness. Somehow, he was just able to drop it, almost like he didn't care anymore.
That's what compelled Katsuki to knock on the redhead's door at twelve thirty at night.

"Okay, talk to you later then."
"Alright, call you tomorrow Ei!"
"Midoriya! We're out of milk!"
The greenette turned his head and saw his roommate leaning against the doorway, arms crossed.
"Who's that?" the red head turned his head in curiosity.
"Oh," Izuku squeaked, "you two haven't met." Izuku turned the phone to face the deul haired boy in the doorway, "Eijiro, this is my roommate, Todoroki. Todoroki, this is my boyfriend, Eijiro."
"It's nice to meet you Todoroki!" the redhead chirped.
Todoroki only nodded and waved. Izuku pouted a bit and turned the camera back to himself.
"Sorry Ei, he isn't very talkative."
"Oh that's fine," Eijiro beamed, already brushing it off, "I love you."
