Armin's POV

"Eren, get the hell off of me!!" I pushed Eren with so much force that I accidentally knocked him onto the floor.

"Armin! I-" He reached out to me, trying to apologize.

"No! I'm leaving. You need some time to get your shit together and learn to shut your mouth right now." I got up and headed towards the door.

"Good morning beautiful." (Y/N) looked stunning in her uniform today. That familiar sparkle in her eyes brought me comfort after being parted from her for so long.

"Morning!" (Y/N) practically ran to my arms, pulling me into a tight hug and giving me a small kiss. I blushed profusely, to my surprise.

"You're still blushing? Haha, you don't have to feel so alarmed now!" She hugged me tighter, almost making me lose my breath.

"Ah! Sorry (Y/N). I just can't believe that you're mine..." I covered myself with my hand to stop my red face from being revealed. I looked down and saw that (Y/N) was doing the same.

"Hm, you're so sweet Armin. I feel the same way. Don't feel bad about blushing, I love that cute face you make anyways." She smiled and rested her head on my chest. I hugged her back, and the comforting feeling of her presence hit me like a truck.

"Hey! Hands off, loverbirds! This is the Survey Corps!" A man yelled from across the field, making us jump. I was just getting used to this...☹️

(Y/N) and I quickly followed directions and parted. As we walked away, I looked over to see Eren. He was gloomy, and it almost seemed like he'd been crying. I wanted to go up to him, and maybe even hug him. He was still my friend...

Then I remembered all the nasty things he had said last night. He looked back at me and I turned to the side, walking away. Eren is my best friend, he always has been. I don't know what's going on with him at the moment, but as much as I want to be there for him, I think he needs a little space...

Then it hit me.

The memories of Eren crawling into my lap and closing in on my face came flooding back.

What is going on with him?
