Nagisa walked to the garden. She had a spot that she went to when she wanted to be alone. She sat on a bench in a secluded area and got lost in thought. She was startled when she heard footsteps that stopped when they stood in front of her. She looked up and saw Karma looking at her apologetically.

"Mind if I sit down?" he asked and when Nagisa nodded he sat down next to her.

"Sorry for making you feeling embarrassed," he apologized.

"It's not your fault. I just get nervous with all of those people staring at me. I had fun, though," she replied.

"Well, I'm glad I did not do anything to embarrass you. By the way, you are a good dancer."

"Thanks. I trained a lot when I was little. You know what they say, practice makes perfect."

"Haha. Guess that's true."

"How did you find me? Nobody but Irina and I know this spot."

"Well, I was wandering around and then I saw you sitting here. It's a really nice spot."

"Thanks," Nagisa said, yawning.

Karma chuckled. It was not that late and the girl was already tired. He listened as the girl next to him fell asleep. He had to admit that he was already beginning to fall for this girl. Nagisa leaned over a little and unconsciously set her head on Karma's shoulder. He blushed lightly but did not move in fear of walking Nagisa up. He sat for a while before trying to wake her up. He poked her arm and she stirred a little and started to open her shining blue eyes. They were still glazed over from sleep, but she soon woke up and looked at him.

"We should head inside before anyone too important takes notice of our absence," Karma suggested and help Nagisa stand up from the bench.

They walked inside quietly and the party was still going on. They got separated in the crowd and Nagisa found herself alone. As soon as she realized this, she was tapped on the shoulder. She turned and saw Asano behind her.

"Would you like to dance with me princess?" he asked.

"Sure," she nodded, knowing that she could not reuse.

He roughly grabbed her hand and led her into a dance. He was overbearing and would not let her take the lead. The dance was also very basic, it felt very controlled. She could tell that he did not want to dance as she and Karma had. She had to admit, though, that if she had the choice to dance with Asano or Karma, she would definitely choose Karma. From what he had said to her, she found that he was very kind. As the dance kept going, she found that Asano was taking more and more control away from her. She hated the feeling of being powerless. She hated this dance. He then leaned towards her ear.

"What are you thinking about?" he whispered, somewhat threateningly.

"Oh, I was just wondering when this dance will end," she retorted. She had had enough of this dance.

She looked through the crowd of people and saw Karma chuckle, he must have overheard her replying to Asano. After what felt like a life-time, the dance finally ended, Asano released her as she caught her breath. Asano walked away without saying anything and she just glared at his back. She then felt a presence by her side.

"I heard what you told him," the person said. It was Karma. Nagisa smiled and turned towards him.

"Haha, he deserved it. That dance was terrible. He was so controlling that by the end of it, he was really the only one dancing."

"That's terrible. Well, this is the last song, so how about we wrap up this party with one more dance?" he suggested.

"Haha. Why not?" Nagisa replied and took his hand.

The music started again, and they began dancing. This time, Nagisa immediately adjusted to the beat of the music and was already throwing in some new moves, not that Karma minded, He enjoyed letting her take the lead. She seemed to be a lot happier by the end of the dance.

Once the dance ended, everyone parted ways. The next day, nothing was planned. It was more of a recovery day from the first party. Nagisa got changed with the help of Hinano and immediately fell asleep on the bed.

Isogai had brought Karma his pajamas and once Karma changed, he began talking to his long-time friend and butler.

"Were there any girls that caught your attention?" Isogai asked.

"Yes. There was one in particular. In fact, I believe I have already fallen for her," Karma replied.

"I see. Then that's good news."

"Did anyone catch your eye?"
"No, not really."

Isogai left after that and Karma laid in his bed, thoughts filled with Nagisa. He then remembered that she never answered one of his questions. He had asked her if her mother was mean, but she had dodged the question. He soon fell asleep thinking about what could have caused her to dodge the question.

A/N: So, that's the end of the first party. It's not too creative, I know, but things will be getting more eventful. Bear with me, this is my first time showing any of my stories to others.
