a.n: I know in Australia there is no Taco Bell...Unfortunately I realized it too late. lol X

I checked the time twice, so I could make sure I was sitting in the library exactly on time.

It was just me and couple of other students there, not noticing my presence. They were too deep into the books, or typing something quickly on their notebook keyboards.

I was sitting behind wooden table, surrounded by many high shelves filled in with hundreds of books.

I have always loved libraries - it has its own magic. As a kid I couldn't get enough of its smell, so can't I nowadays.

I began to feel impatient. It has been fifteen minutes since our meeting should have started and my dearest roommate wasn't supposed to get here on time. I curled one of my blonde lock of hair around finger, trying to not get too mad. She's actually incredible.

Just when I pulled my phone out of my jeans planning to call her, I spotted her silhouette walking towards me, with apologetic look on her face.

“Where the fuck have you been?” I snapped as she took a seat next to me.

I noticed she wasn't wearing the same Ozzy Osbourne shirt as she did in the morning, what means she had to have free time.

“I got a little stuck during my way here. I met my high school friend.”

So did I.

“I thought I'll die from hunger, Hailey.”

“I'm truly sorry, Stella,” she smirked. “I just need to borrow one book and while we will be heading to nearest pub, you will tell me everything from last night!”

I rolled my eyes, but nod.

After few minutes, we were out of the campus, sitting in my car in our way to some pub. We asked lads if they wanted to join us, but Luke and Michael are both having serious hangover from yesterday so they can't even think about beer. And Ash has his lesson. He said he will maybe stop by later.

When we got there, we found our places next to small table and squeezed through few people. Hailey ordered two middle beers plus one cheese burger for me.

“You're not going to eat anything?” I raised eyebrow as she shook her head.

“I'm good.”

They brought us beers and we cling our glasses.

“Cheers!” Hailey shouted.

“Here's to successful pass through this semester.”

The beer tasted quite good, however I have never been a fan of it.

“So, tell me. And I want to hear every detail of it, understand?”

I sighed. It was very naive from me, thinking that I will possibly avoid this conversation.

I was wondering, if I should mention Calum or not. But if she wants everything...

“What exactly do you want to hear?”

“Mhm.” Hailey made a pause and filled it with a slip from her glass. “Start with this. Why did you leave with crying? What happened?”

I sighed again.

“Okay, fine. So... God damn. I met a boy from high school there. He was my childhood friend. We were best friends for life and we couldn't spend time without each other. He used to have this little special place in my heart and so did I. But shit happened and I began to care,” Hailey listened closely. I had to drink 'cause I began to feel down. “It was typical love story of two childhood friends. He found a girlfriend then another and another...he has changed. And he didn't give a fuck about me anymore. I was like an air, invisible... I felt really heartbroken, he meant everything to me and I lost him. I feel like it was all of it my fault, like I wasn't good enough for him anymore. So I graduated and went for two years to France, to visit my aunt. I was working there and earning money so I can be able to pay my college. So I came here, trying to begin a new life, forget about high school and there he is in all of sudden, appeared like nothing.”
