Wolf speak
Winter woke up early in the morning, soon followed by Aleo. "Are your parents going to get mad if we wake them this early?" Aleo asked unsure, as the 2 crept down the hall. "We are just waking daddy! Mommy's not a morning person." Winter shrugged and carefully opened the bedroom door.
The 2 slowly crept around to Ray's side of the bed. Counting down from 3 on her fingers, Winter and Aleo got ready to pounce onto the bed. Winter jumped back and Aleo yelped in surprise when a raspy sleepy voice muttered "dont even think about it."
Ray sat up and looked down at the 2 smugly. "Hi daddy." Winter smiled shyly. "Morning Winter, Aleo." Ray mumbled, stretching until he heard a pop in his spine. All 3 wolves froze all movements as Quinn shifted in her sleep but didnt wake. Ray held a finger to his lips and carefully got up, leading the 2 pups out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.
"Mind telling me what made you 2 think it was a good idea to try to pounce on me at-" Ray stopped speaking momentarily to check the time. "5am?" Winter giggled shyly and Aleo tucked his tail in. "It was Winters idea!" Aleo barked quietly. "Wow thanks for that." Winter huffed, earning a loud snort from Ray, trying to contain his laughter. "Way to throw her under the bus." Ray laughed, giving up on trying to hide it and quickly cooked breakfast.
Winter pouted and stuck her tongue out at the 2 males, walking away to the kitchen table. "I think we made her mad." Aleo whispers, following Ray to the table. Ray only hm's in response and places plates of food onto the table, sitting next to Winter, who had forgotten why she was mad as soon as she saw bacon. Winter mumbles a 'thank you' before diving into the food in front of her.
Few hours later
Quinn finished up her makeup with dark red lipstick and walked outside to stand on the porch. "Hi mom! What took you so long?" Winter asked, suddenly popping up beside her mother. "I was doing my makeup and making myself look nice." Quinn replied, looking her daughter up and down. Winter wore a red t-shirt and Jean shorts that reached her knees, her long hair was in a messy bun so it would stay out of her face while she played.
Quinn glared at Ray from across the yard, knowing that Winter didnt do her hair herself. Ray didnt notice the icy glare because he was to busy talking to Aleo, explaining how he was going to be trained. "So your going to train me like a domesticated dog?" Aleo asked, a bit offended. Hes a wolf! Not a house pet! "Aleo I didnt mean it like that." Ray groaned, he knew how prideful young wolves could be. While Aleo wasnt your normal stuck up, prideful wolf pup, he still took small pride in being a pureblood wolf.
Ray spend another few hours trying to explain why the training was happening without offending Aleo.
Quinn smirked, seeing how many times Ray had to visibly calm himself. "Not long now." Quinn said, her smirk fading and her face going back to emotionless.
