I have no excuse for not updating. I'm just lazy. On with the story
Wolf speak

Winter yelped as she was tackled to the ground by Aleo. "Gotcha! I win!" Aleo exclaimed proudly. "You only got me b'cuz I let you get me!" Winter  replied quickly. Winters wolf form was smaller than a normal pups, it did give her a few disadvantages but her speed makes up for it. Winters wolf is made for speed and agility, which would most likely make her a lead wolf during a pack hunt.

"Come on now you two. Don't start a fight, it's time for Aleos training." Ray spoke up. Aleo huffed anoyyed about training and Winter wasn't much help since she was giggling (well the best that a wolf can giggle).  "Your helping to Winter." Ray smirked at the sudden silence, followed by a second anoyyed huff.

3 weeks later

Quinn was done. It had been nearly a month since Aleo showed up and still no sign of him leaving! To make it worse, Aleo picked up quickly with training and it would seem like he had years of guard dog training. "Ow! Dammit!" Quinn screeched, dropping the teapot. "Quinn?!" Ray popped his head in the kitchen. Ray quickly started to help clean up.

Quinn watched the burn on her hand heal and vanish in less than 5 seconds. "I see the wolves training is going well." Quinn stated with a bored tone. Ray only nodded and threw away the broken teapot. "I'd say only 2 more weeks or so and then hes the perfect guard for our daughter!" Ray said proudly.

Quinn rolled her eyes, of course going unnoticed by her husband. "Hey Ray?" The vampires voice sounded much to innocent. "Hm?" Came the short reply, showing he was listening. "What's wolvesbane look like?" Quinn turned to her husband, who visibly flinched at the mention of the deadly plant. "It looks alot like poison ivy. But a purple-ish color to it." Ray replied calmly, despite the harsh flinch.

I honestly have no idea what wolvesbane looks like so I'm just making it up as I go! Just bear with me

Quinn turned back to the sink, filling another teapot with water. "I was along because I thought I saw a patch a mile or so from the house awhile ago." Quinn said calmly, smirking to herself when the werewolfs face turned to one of horror. "Winter tends to wander father than 3 miles all the time!" Ray yelped, running down the hall.

Quinn snickered as Ray ran out the house with a bucket and gloves, racing in the direction that she had given him. Thankfully, the 2 younger wolves didnt follow, preferring to stay and play in front of the house. It was now or never.

Quinn raced to her room and grabbed a pocket knife from Ray's side of the closet, hiding it in her back pocket. She decided to wear Jean's just for today, so she could easily hide the weapon.

Calmly walking outside, Quinn proceeded to think of how to get Winter inside long enough for her to do her dirty work. "Hi mom!" Winter greeted happily. "Hello dear. Would you mind going inside and finding my purse? I cant seem to find it anywhere!" Quinn exclaimed, exaggerating the worry in her voice. "Sure! I bet I'll find it really fast!" Winter giggled, and darted inside.

Before Aleo could follow Winter, Quinn stepped in the way. "I have a strong feeling you can understand me. So listen close wolf." Quinn sneered. Aleo nodded his head once and sat. "We dont need you here anymore. Ray just left to get a real guard dog! A grown dog that can actually protect my daughter." The vampire internally smirked as Aleos ears flopped down and his tail stilled.

Aleo couldnt belive it! He couldnt be getting replaced! The young wolf stood and growled slightly, and slammed his paw on the ground, showing his disagreement. Quinn griped the knife in her pocket tightly, her patience quickly running out. "I said scram! You filthy mutt!" Her knuckles started turning white from gripping the knife.

Aleo didnt move. He wouldnt belive it until he saw Ray return with or without a replacement. He wasnt leaving without a goodbye from Winter either.

Quinn lost her patience.

I'll try to update soon I promise
