Hanzo stirred under the sheets, then slowly rolled over on his side, grunting and wincing as he felt pain in his lower back, hips, and ass.
"Damn.." He huffed, rubbing at the sore muscles before forcing himself to sit up on the side of the bed.
Glancing around, Hanzo noticed Jesse wasn't beside him and that there was a glass of water and two pills on the night stand next to a note.
Hanzo picked the small piece of paper up and squinted, trying to decipher the handwriting.

"Take these with the water, it will help the pain. Be careful not to choke. Love ya, sweetpea~ Jesse"

Humming, Hanzo examined the pills and then hesitantly swallowed them one by one with the water.
Setting the glass back down, he slowly stood up, still feeling the immense aching as he tried to walk.
He hugged the wall to keep his balance and followed a savory, delectable smell that came from the kitchen.

Rounding the corner, he saw Jesse standing in front of the stove, humming a tune Hanzo didnt know.
"Sleep well, darlin'?"
Hanzo yawned and gradually made his way over to Jesse, "Yes."
"Good, would ya like to try some breakfast?" Jesse asked, glancing to his right to see his lover eyeing the food he was making.
"What is it?" Hanzo raised an eyebrow.
"Eggs and bacon, with some buttered toast."
Hanzo hummed, seemingly unsure of whether or not he should try eating it.
"I do not know how it will effect me."
"Well..I got some frozen tilapia if ya would rather have that." Jesse suggested.
"I think that would be the safer option. If it is ok with you, that is."
Jesse smiled at him and turned off the stove, scooping his eggs onto a paper plate before turning to Hanzo.

"Anythin' fer you, darlin'." Jesse said and sweetly kissed Hanzo, their lips touching tenderly before they pulled back to smile at each other.
Jesse then walked over to the fridge and opened the bottom compartment, pulling out the bag of frozen fish.
"You can go wait in the livin' room until it's ready, darlin'."
"Are you sure? I can help if you would like." Hanzo said, watching his lover pull out two pieces of fish and place them in the pan.
"Its aight, darlin', I got it. Jus' go sit down and watch some TV." Jesse replied and returned his focus on cooking.

Hanzo hummed and exited the kitchen, beginning to wander around, looking at all of the furnishings and decorations.
He was unsure of what a "tv" was, so he decided to just explore the unknown regions of the beach house while he waited for his food.

After five or ten minutes, Hanzo heard Jesse's voice call his name.
He followed the direction it was in and entered the dining room, seeing Jesse set two plates of food down.
Hanzo watched his lover pull out his seat for him and smiled as he sat down, instantly wincing in pain.

"You ok, darlin'?" Jesse asked with concern.
"Y-yes..my back just hurts is all."
Hanzo rubbed at his lower back and tried his best not to shift his weight in the cushioned chair.
"Sorry 'bout that, hun. I'll go easier on ya next time." Jesse said apologetically as he sat down across from Hanzo.
Hanzo picked up his fork, then looked over at his lover, "It is quite alright, Jesse. I enjoyed last night..I think I like it rough~"

Jesse bit down hard on his fork, replaying the words he'd just heard.
Slowly, he chewed and swallowed, eyeing Hanzo.
"Is that so?" He saw Hanzo make eye contact with him and found himself caught in the other male's intense stare.
"Yes." Hanzo answered simply, flashing Jesse a small smirk before taking another bite of his tilapia.
