After their breakfast, Jesse led them into the living room, where they sat down on the brown sofa.
"So, this is what you humans call a 'tv'?" Hanzo asked as he watched Jesse turn it on with the 'remote'.
"Yep, it stands for television. I'm guessin' you ain't got anythin' like this down in the deep blue sea..?"
Hanzo hummed, "No. We do not."Jesse flipped through channels and paused when familiar shows or movies came on. But, Hanzo was more mesmerized by how simple technology was for land dwellers.
"I can only imagine what Genji would do with this..." Hanzo thought to himself as he studied the nature of the actors or people that appeared on screen.
Everyone was foreign to him, obviously, so he formulated many questions for Jesse. The two sat close, side by side, with Jesse's right arm wrapped around Hanzo's waist.
Much to Hanzo's liking."You wanna stay home and watch some movies today?" The taller male asked, settling on an old western movie from the 60s. Hanzo hummed in thought and leaned his head against his lover's chest.
"That sounds very nice...I still feel quite tired from last night." He admitted while blushing as he remembered the events that took place in the bedroom.
Hanzo found himself whisked away into daydreams of Jesse, all of them including the cowboy-wannabe either kissing, biting, fucking, or hugging him.
The human had grown in his heart so quickly and so suddenly, but Hanzo didn't realize how fast until now.
They seemed to have only known each other for a month..maybe less.
And, Hanzo had already mated with him, had his child, and has agreed to live with him."If father found out about this..."
Those words now haunted him, the idea alone caused a wave of fear to run through him.
"I pray Genji can keep Takeo safe..if father finds out he's mine, that I have mated with a human..."Hanzo mustn't have realized the stern and stone-hard face he was making because he became confused when Jesse asked him if he was okay.
"Y-Yes...I am fine. Just thinking about some things." Hanzo focused on trying to convince his partner that nothing was bothering him, but somehow Jesse saw right through it.
"No. You ain't, Hanzo. Your jaw was tight and you looked like you were starin' into the cosmos. So, what's on yer mind, darlin'?" Jesse asked again, but now had a gentle tone that was accompanied by a loving hand rubbing his thigh and a worried but patient stare.Sighing, the merman casted his eyes to the floor, unsure of how to explain what his mind was saying.
"I...I am worried."
He paused and watched Jesse's expression become concerned.
"What's worryin' ya, darlin'?"
Taking his lover's warm, rough hand into his soft ones, Hanzo was quiet for a moment and closed his eyes, trying to silence the pestering, anxiety-inducing thoughts.
When he reopened them, he stared back into Jesse's brown orbs and spoke softly, "I am worried about my father finding out..."
Jesse's shoulders seemed to relax a little and he seemed slightly relieved that it wasn't what he thought it was about.
He waited a little bit though before speaking again, watching Hanzo look away from him and fiddle with their hands."He can't force you into anythin', Hanzo. No one controls yer life but you." Jesse said, taking his free hand to guide Hanzo's face back towards him, making the other stare into his eyes.
"I love you, darlin' and I wanna have a family with you."
A blush crept it's way onto Hanzo's golden cheeks as he thought about him and Jesse spending their lives together, raising their son, and living happily.
It felt like more of a dream than reality, making Hanzo fear that it could come crumbling down to crush him.
"I love you too, Jesse...and I would very much enjoy that as my future."
A small smile tugged at his lips as Jesse leaned in, giving him a light kiss that lingered for a few seconds. After that discussion, Jesse decided to help distract Hanzo's mind from the worrying.
"Its called cuddlin', darlin'." Jesse explained as he pulled Hanzo close to him and wrapped a strong arm around his waist again.
This time, they had half a dozen blankets to keep them cozy. Along with a plastic bowl of popcorn to share, after Hanzo had discovered he enjoyed the food that is.--Time Skip--
After hours of movies and tv shows, it was now turning towards afternoon.
Hanzo yawned and stretched a little bit before settling back against Jesse's warm body.
"Wanna try a horror movie?" Jesse asked, a small smirk on his face.
Hanzo raised a questioning eyebrow, "A what?"
Jesse chuckled, "A horror movie. It's supposed to be a movie that scares ya or creeps ya out."
After hearing his explanation, Hanzo hummed and glanced back at the TV.
A movie called "The Grudge" was highlighted. The cover was creepy alone, which made Hanzo nervous. His fear was emminant in his expression and Jesse held him tighter.
"Its okay, darlin', I'll be right here and nothin's gonna get ya. I'll protect ya," Jesse reassured and kissed his cheek.
Hanzo's cheeks burned a little from the sudden affection but it soothed his nerves and he hesitantly agreed to watch it with Jesse.---
