"Where's Levi?" Hanji called out, but she couldn't see. Her vision was filled of darkness with small flashes of light coming from every corner of the room. She didn't know where she was, but she knew it wasn't anywhere good.
"He's mine, sweetheart" A voice called out following with a laugh.
"I gave you your warning! Now you have to face the consequences"
Hanji stared into the distant and seen a black figure coming closer to her. Suddenly she froze. As the figure moved closer, she tried her hardest to scream or move; but she couldn't.
"Guess who?"

Hanji shot up in a sweat and caught her breathe. She looked around and seen nothing but darkness.
Levi sat up beside her and yawned.
"what's wrong?" He asked in a sleepy tone.
Hanji let out a sigh of relief and shook her head.
"It's nothing" she whispered as Levi laid back down
"it's just a dream, four-eyes. go back to sleep" he mumbled and let himself fall back asleep.
Hanji nodded and placed her head back on Levi's chest as she laid back down.
She wanted to believe him, but for some reason she couldn't.
It felt too real to be a dream.

the next day
11:45 a.m.
"It was most likely just a dream, H. don't get so caught up in this, we have other things to worry about" Moblit explained as he watched the messy genius tear through all of her books, searching for answers.
"It wasn't. There was something about it... something that threw me off. I couldn't tell what it was, but it was definitely real" Hanji finished looking through her sixth book— still with no answers.
"If you're so concerned about it, just tell him. He can help you figure it out"
"No" she walked over to her other stack of books and skimmed through them.
"I don't want to worry him. Besides, what am I going to tell him? There's not much he could do about it"
"so then what are you going to do about it?" Moblit asked
Hanji stopped for a second to think, then shook her head.
"I have to go see Veros"
"Veros? you don't even like him, though."
"I know.. but he's the only one that'll give me truthful answers. and he's good at analyzing dreams and stuff like that, so I don't really have a choice" She pushed aside her books and began writing things down
"well are you going to tell Levi? when are you going? isn't it dangerous to travel realms at a time like this?"
Hanji let out a deep sigh and replied, "I don't know, Moblit. I'm not going to tell him because it's probably nothing, and if I want the answers I need to go now. If it is something bad I need to figure it out before something does happen"
She gathered up her things while Moblit tried to stop her
"Wait, wait! Levi is going to be pissed if he finds out you went to see Veros by yourself. They hate each others guts; let me go with you"
"Im not letting you do that. If Levi found out you went with me, he'll hurt you. Not that I would let it happen, but you know what happened last time. I was unconscious so I couldn't stick up for you. Besides, it's not a big deal. It's just the mortal realm... it can't hurt me"
Moblit gave her a sad look
"but they've hurt you before..."
Silent filled the room as Hanji faced the floor to ponder her thoughts.
"I know... but I'm only going there to see Veros. He's not even a human, I don't know why he lives there. I'm going to be fine, Moblit. I'm just going straight to him and then I'm coming back"
Before he could disagree with her, she disappeared.
Moblit stood there in shock and shook his head.
"this is a bad idea"

a few minutes later
The Mortal Realm
Hanji plopped down on the same bed she left off at from her last visit. Going back to that place felt unreal for her.
She slowly got up and looked around the house. Everything there made her uneasy. It was filled with memories and feelings she had wished to forget.
Before she could continue exploring, she could sense Levi looking for her; which was her cue to start her mission.
Hanji quickly teleported out of that house and landed in front of a huge mansion in the middle of the woods. She shook her head and rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"of course he would do something like this"
She began walking towards the front door, until she started feeling faint.
"shit, what's happening?" She thought to herself as everything was spinning.
She tried to grasp onto something, but it was too late. Her world turned black and she fell to the ground; unconscious.
"Veros is here"
