Hanji had started seeing Veros almost everyday now. Levi didn't like it, but there wasn't much he could do about it because no matter what he said, Hanji would still do what she wanted to do. I guess that's what he liked about Hanji the most.

Because even if he was stronger, more powerful and intimidating; Hanji would still choose what she believed to be right, even if it meant arguing with him.

And even if she gets hurt from it, or if people judged her... she'd still fight for what she believes in & she'd do everything to protect everyone.

Levi walked down the halls of the base and observed all of his members. He never was used to seeing them all like this because he never found the time to actually get to know them. That was always something Hanji would do, and she didn't seem to mind.

He turned around and sensed his girlfriend behind him. She quickly hugged him and smiled

"aw I wanted to surprise you!" Petra giggled and held onto Levi's arm as they walked down the halls.

"what are you doing?" She asked and played with her hair. For some reason, Levi felt something was.. off.

"I'm observing. I never really pay attention to them unless it's for something serious. I don't see them as much on their free time"

"oh? Levi thats bad!" Petra scolded, which made Levi confused.

"what's so bad about that?"

"you're their leader! you're supposed to be social and outgoing when it comes to them. you should know everything about them"

"what? no that's stupid." Levi furrowed his eyebrows, "that's why I have H-" he stopped mid-sentence and shook his head.

"never mind"

They continued walking until they reached the lounge, where Levi judged the interior design of the whole thing.

"tch. everything in this room is hideous. we need to get it replaced" Expecting her opinion, Levi stayed silent but she didn't say anything.

He looked at Petra but she just stood there smiling silently.

"hm? what's wrong" she asked sweetly

"what do you think?"

She looked around the room but just nodded her head.

"whatever you don't like, I don't like either!" She said cutely and leaned her head against his arm.

Although, Levi could only cringe at that.

"I just remembered I have something to work on... I'll catch up with you later" Before she could say bye, Levi left immediately.

He quickly popped into Hanji's study, and found Erwin sitting on the sofa reading a book.

"Levi? What's wrong, you look like you seen a ghost" Erwin joked as Levi quickly closed the door and walked to the opposite side of the room.

"Okay... now you actually seem freaked out. what happened?" Erwin asked and closed his book.

Levi shook his head and tried talking, but nothing would come out.

"Levi, what is it? Is it Hanji? What happened?" He could tell Erwin was getting worried

"no, no. Hanji is fine.. it's just" He sighed deeply, "I think I made a mistake"

"mistake? about what?"
