"oi, Moblit" Levi said catching up to Moblit

"wheres Hanji?"

Moblit continued walking around the yard and shook his head, but didn't reply.

"oi, are you deaf?"

Moblit stopped and turned towards the raven haired man.

"She left"

"where?"

"the mortal realm"

Levi's eyes widened immediately as he tried to gather his thoughts. He didn't know if he was feeling angry or worried.

"what the hell do you mean she went to the mortal realm?! and you just let her?"

"I couldn't stop her. you know how she is. why she went, I'm afraid I can't answer that. I don't know myself"

"tsk. useless"

Levi disappeared, leaving Moblit feeling relieved.

"open your eyes"

"wake up! wake up!"

Hanji slowly opened her eyes as her vision was a bit foggy. She knew immediately what happened.

"faint spell" she mumbled and sat up. She was on a sofa in the living room of a really big house.

"It's about time you've woken up"
A voice called from the side, which startled her.

Hanji stood up quickly and put her guard up.

"Veros" she said as she watched him walk down the stairs.

He was a tall brunette, who was as handsome as ever, and had a beautiful smile that made Hanji feel a certain type of way.

"Hanji. I'm shocked to see you here. What's up?" He approached her and stood inches apart from the brunette.

The two stared at each other, but Hanji couldn't bring herself to say anything. For some reason, this feeling he brought her was comforting.

"V..Veros" she said softly which caused him to chuckle

"c'mon, Hanj. we're in the mortal realm. you don't have to call me by my spiritual name." He leaned in closer and softly moved Hanji's hair away from her face.

"I've missed you. I miss looking into your beautiful eyes"

Hanji felt overwhelmed by all of this. She hasn't seen Veros in over five years... how was she supposed to react?

Suddenly, she came back to her senses. Her eyes immediately filled with anger as she slapped Veros's hand away from her.

"I didn't come here to hear this." She walked away from him and took a seat on the barstool on the opposite side of the room.

Veros sighed and smiled.

"at least let me make you something to drink" he gave her a sincere look, which caused her to roll her eyes.

"whatever" Hanji mumbled as she followed him into the kitchen.

"so, what brings you here if it's not my affection for you" Veros said as he poured Hanji her tea.

"we aren't going to happen. ever. not after what you did" she mumbled and sipped her tea.

He put the kettle down and huffed.

"how many times do I have to apologize for that? I'm sorry, okay!"

"until the day I'm healed! until the day that all the pain you caused me is no longer there. you ruined my life. you don't get to complain because of how hurt I am!" Hanji yelled in anger which caused him to lower his head
