the supernatural realm

Hanji plopped down on her bed and dropped all ten bags of designer clothes she had. She bought stuff from Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry... she hated the mortal realm but boy did she love their things.

She placed the bags on the side of her bed and made her way to her study.

Levi was already there, waiting for her for.

"hey Levi" she said and pulled out a few books from her shelf. She could sense Levi was not in a good mood, but she really didn't want to fight with him.

"why did you go to the mortal realm?"

Hanji took off her jacket and disregarded his question

"I found some new information on Dristex I think... do you want to hear if?"

"I'm not messing around, four-eyes. why did you go to the mortal realm?" She could tell by the tone of his voice he wasn't angry, he was mostly upset.

"I don't want to argue with you. not with everything going on. Besides, not everything I do has to be your business" 

Hanji hesitated and twiddled her fingers. She knew she had to tell him the truth, but how was he going to react?

"I went to see Veros"

Silence filled the room and Hanji could immediately sense Levi's anger.

Levi glared at Hanji, and before she could say anything he disappeared.

two weeks later

Levi and Hanji hadn't talked much ever since their last conversation. If anything, Levi was just avoiding Hanji because he was mad at her. She understood it and accepted it, but knew it was going on for too long.

"He's still not talking to you?" Nanaba asked the brunette as the two sat together eating lunch.

"nope. I don't really know what to do... it's never gone on this long before. I know what I did was stupid but..." She stopped and poked at her food. She couldn't come up with an explanation for it.

"It wasn't stupid, H. I honestly think you did the right thing. Veros is the ONLY person who can analyze and explain stuff like that. As long as you were comfortable with it I don't see the problem. Let me ask you this... do you resent Veros for what happened?"

Hanji shifted in her seat. Her feelings were all mixed up so she didn't know what to think.

"I honestly don't know. At first I did nothing but blame him for it... but as time went on, it became harder for me to do so. I realized that it wasn't his fault. His intentions were in the right place and I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt me; but the process was really hard to get through. I feel like it was just easier to blame Veros rather than think about... it."

"can I be honest?" Nanaba asked and Hanji of course nodded. Hanji loved hearing Nanaba's advice because she was always the person to help her in times like this.

"Now I don't really have the right to say this because I don't know what you went through, but I am just going to say how I feel. I know what you went through was really terrible, but I don't think you should blame Veros for it. Like you said, his heart and his intentions were in the right place but it honestly isn't his fault. He didn't know that the person would do that, you know?"

"yea, I know. I know it wasn't his fault but it was just... it was just a really hard situation for me. but i know i need to forgive him, and I'm currently working on it. the only problem is Levi. he absolutely hates him and blames him for everything that happened and I don't know what to do about it"
