Tsukishima's P.O.V
Friday MorningI stirred and woke up, my alarm blaring beside me. I shifted onto my other side and pressed the 'Snooze' button, turning back around and wrapping my arms around my beloved. He stirred, mumbling something before looking up at me.
"Morning, angel." I said quietly. Tadashi smiled a bit and rubbed his eyes.
"Good morn, Chukki.." He mumbled, giving me a hug and burying his face in my chest. I ran my fingers through his soft hair and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "..we have to get up."
"Yeah. Let's just stay like this for a few moments longer." I replied, closing my eyes. Tadashi nodded and snuggled under the blankets more. I tuned into the soft chirping of the birds outside and the wind rustling the leaves. I took a deep breath, my muscles relaxing.
So... relaxed..
"BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP"
"Uuughh." I groaned, rolling over and shutting off the alarm. I sat up and slipped my glasses on, stretching and going to brush my teeth. Tadashi wrapped a fluffy blanked around him and rolled out of bed. He wormed his way into the bathroom and brushed his teeth, trying to neaten his hair without any luck. If I was being honest, he kinda looked like a more adorable version of Aizawa from My Hero Academia.
I brushed my teeth and hair, putting on some deodorant before putting on my uniform. I waited outside of my room for Tadashi. He walked out, looking a lot happier and more awake. We put on our shoes and walked outside, starting the journey to Karasuno.
When we reached the gym, Tadashi walked up to Daichi, fiddling with his thumbs. He looked quite nervous, honestly. I went to get some water, totally not spying on them to make sure my angel was alright. Daichi plastered a sympathetic smile onto his face and patted Tadashi on the back.
"Guys, quick meeting." The team captain called. Myself and nine other boys walked up to the two.
"What is it?" A particular readhead asked, an angry blueberry nodding in agreement.
"Tadashi is going to be in America for a few weeks for personal reasons. We'll continue pratice as normal, so don't be suprised if he doesn't show up. He's not gonna be leaving the club or anything." Daichi explained while reaching over to ruffle Tadashi's unkempt hair. Curious faces and nods of understanding rippled through the crowd, and they all walked back to where they were practicing. I sighed with relief that nobody pressured Tadashi to open up about what he was going through.
I began doing some spiking drills with the rest of the team, waiting in line for my turn. Suga and Kageyama were setting for us, making the drills go by a bit faster. I picked up a ball and tossed it up in the air towards Suga, getting a running start towards the net. The ball met the gray haired boys' hands and flew upwards.
Whap
The ball slammed onto the ground of the other side of the court. I ducked underneath the net and sat on the sidelines, since practice was gonna be over soon. I looked over to see Nishinoya begging Kageyama for a set out of curiosity. I smirked, shouting over to them, "Spiking isn't usually suitable for people that can walk underneath the net without ducking their head."
"You wanna go, Saltyshima? I'll kick your ass so hard you'll be able to walk underneath the net."
Tadashi walked up next to me, chuckling ever so softly. I smiled with adoration at him, looking at the redness on his cheeks or the beads of sweat rolling down his face. He looked up at me, confused. "Is there something on my face, Tsukki?" He asked, instinctively reacing up to cover his freckled cheeks.
