Fluff? yes.
Tsukishima's P.O.VThe car came to a stop in front of my house. I got out and opened the door, throwing my shoes in the corner of the mudroom and running upstairs. I shut and locked the door before flopping on my bed, hugging my favorite dinosaur plushie Tadashi gave me so many years ago. I huffed and buried myself under countless pillows and blankets, Tadashi's scent still on them.
This boy is gonna be the death of me.
A faint knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. I peeked out from the blankets to see the door swing open, revealing Akiteru. He had a triumphant smile plastered onto his bitch-ass face.
"I thought I locked the door." I muttered, ducking back under the blankets.
"Yeah, but it was fairly easy to pick. If a serial killer decides to wander around the block, we're screwed." He joked.
"Oh, how disappointing." I murmured with a voice dripping with sarcasm. Aki sat down next to me and began poking me, clearly not getting the hint that I wanted to be alone. I sat up and stared at him with what I hoped was a 'What the fuck are you doing?' face.
"Oh, so scary. I might just shit my pants." He said dramatically, placing a hand over his heart and flopping backwards. I rolled my eyes.
"Is there something you wanted, or did you just want to come in here to pester me?"
"I didn't want anything, but they did." Aki replied while sitting up, pointing at the doorway.
"Pardon the intrusion!" A chorus of voices shouted. I saw the majority of the volleyball team standing outside of my room, looking around at all the dinosaur merch I had around the room. My eyes widened as I grabbed the dino plushies, posters, and plastic figures off the shelves, shoving them into the closet. I mouthed an 'I'm sorry' to them before shutting the closet door.
"We will never speak of this again, understood?" I hissed, walking up to the group at the door. Hinata, Kageyama, Tanaka and Noya were chuckling.
"Hey, Tsukishima, what's your favorite dinos-" Tanaka started, stopping when he felt a glare from Daichi burn a hole in the back of his head. He cleared his throat and straightened his posture, tapping his Kohais and Noya on the back.
"What do you guys want?" I asked.
"We know you're probably really sad with Tadashi gone. You're not very expressive, but your thoughts were practically written on your face with sharpie." Suga said. I instinctively reached up to touch my cheek. The silver-haired setter chuckled as Daichi draped an arm around his shoulders.
"You know you can talk to us, right? You can only go so far making fun of your other teammates and shutting them out." The captain said. I looked down at the ground. Silence hung in the air like thunderclouds, waiting to strike down with a flash of lightning or pour rain on unsuspecting townspeople.
"Anyways!" Suga said cheerily, clasping his hands in front of him. "We're gonna cheer you up! It's gonna be a long three weeks, so lets try to give them a good start."
"Karasuno... Fight!" Daichi shouted.
"Fight!" Chimed six other voices. I grumbled something before turning to Aki, who had watched the interaction from the comfort of my room. He peered over the top of one of my favorite mangas, smirking. I huffed and crossed my arms, curling back up underneath the mountain of blankets I had. My brother got up and moved past the crowd.
"I'll leave you boys to it. Just don't do anything that I wouldn't."
"Do whatever you want. Just.. don't bother me. And don't go into my closet." I said before putting on my headphones and listening to my favorite playlist.
