Grayson
*1 year later*
"Happy birthday to Amy, happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang happily to Amy. I clapped as I tried my hardest to smile.

It was exactly a year ago since Rosé left the world. I haven't been the same. I don't remember the last time I genuinely smiled.

Everyone tried their hardest to move on. No one here really knows what happened. I made up some lie on how she died. I just said she got shot in the middle of a shooting, and I couldn't find her.

They all believed.

Amy was so hurt, and she still is. "Come on let's go out guys, I bet Rosé would want us to not worry about her too much," Connor said. Connor and I got along a little after Rosé's death.

"Okay," Amy said and everyone cheered. They all got ready, except me. Ethan noticed and made his way towards me.

"I know you're hurting more than all of us but Grayson we need to-"

"I'm tired Ethan, I'm going to take a nap then come after you to the mall okay?" I smiled sarcastically.

Ethan nodded understanding and stood up. "Let's go guys!" He clapped.

Everyone left, leaving me in my thoughts. I was finally alone. I cried from guilt, pain and anger.

This is all my fault. I laid down on the couch, trying to breath.

'Ding' I heard the doorbell ring. "Ugh," I groaned. I rubbed my tears and walked to the door. "Hey I forgot my bag," Naomi walked in and took her bag. She left not questioning the dried tears on my face, she's already used to it.

I went back to the couch and stared at the ceiling. I miss her so much.

'Ding' the doorbell rang again. "What is it now Naomi?" I groaned.

I walked to the door and opened it for her, she probably forgot something else.

My heart skipped a beat. I felt my whole world light up again. Rosé is right in front of me. There's no way.

I rubbed my eyes vigorously and looked at the person stood in front of me again, it was still Rosé.

"Hey Gray," her soft voice said. My heart fell to my stomach. "R-Rosé?" Tears built up in my eyes.

She walked forward and hugged me, her petite waist was pressed against mine. I hugged her and cried in her shoulder.

She cried with me as we both collapsed on the floor in each other's arms.

We stood up and she took my hand in hers. Reality struck and I realized the reason this all happened in the first place. "How are you still alive?" I asked shocked.

"He shot me in the arm gray," she laughed. It was silent for a bit as I tried to take in what was happening.

"You tried saving my dad's life Gray," she smiled widely. "I shouldn't have believed them," she kissed my cheek and hugged me again.

"I was gone for one year, looking for what actually happened. That bastard Carter... I'm so glad he's dead-"

"He died?" I asked in shock. "The world isn't big enough for the both of us and I wanted to stay alive," she shrugged.

I laughed and hugged her again. I felt someone hug the both us making me look up. I could feel my heart stop. "Richard?" My jaw dropped.

He laughed in a fatherly manner and said, "thanks for saving my life kiddo."

I hugged him tightly as I cried. "I trust you with my daughter okay?" Richard warned. "Dad developed trust issues after Cole," Rosé whispered chuckling.

A few hours passed and we all were talking and cracked jokes here and there. It was an amazing feeling holding Rosé in my arms again.

"Hey Grayson, we're home!" Amy walked in, she didn't really look happy, but I don't blame her.

"I'm-" she stopped talking when she saw Richard and Rosé. Richard's eyes filled up with tears.

"Amy!" He ran to her and hugged her so tightly. Rosé also walked to them and started crying a lot.

My heart felt happy, knowing she's finally happy. They looked like a family again. "Rosé!" I heard Amy say in disbelief.

Everyone else walked in the house and couldn't believe their eyes. The sight of Rosé cheered them up.

"Noah! Naomi!" Richard hugged the couple tightly.

Everyone was crying from happiness, finally back together. And I watched from afar as they all smiled widely.

"What are you doing kid?" Richard asked angrily. "You caused all of this!" Richard said.

"I did?" I asked. "If it weren't for you, these brothers wouldn't have found one another. If it weren't for you, Rosé wouldn't have found Amy and I," he laughed.

Everyone ran to me and hugged me tightly. I cried from happiness as I finally felt appreciated for once in my life.

"Thank you Grayson," Rosé whispered in my ear as she smiled widely.

"Wow, now I have so many kids to take care of, I need to run away!" Richard joked, making everyone laugh.

"Wait Rosé," Connor said. Rosé smiled widely at him. "What did you do in that year you were gone?" He asked.

The room became silent and we all looked at Rosé.

"It's a long story!" She whined. "Just say it," Ethan yelled.

"Fine," she smiled. I turned the TV off as we all listened in. I looked around and felt happy, finally having a family I can be with. Rosé cuddled into me as I felt her smile against my chest.

"It all started when I got shot by Shawn..."
